    My name is Ari. I enjoyed my vacations in Barcelo Ixtapa due to the many activities you could participate, during the day and at night. The staff are good persons and make you have a good time. I like my room, the food and the drinks. They also have a club to dance at night, a gym, tenis and basquetball courts, and others excellent places. I definitely going to visit again Barcelo Ixtapa. Have a good day. Recomiendo mucho Barcelo Ixtapa. Me la pase en todas las actividades de dia y noche, muy agradable y divertido. La playa esta bonita. El personal me cayo muy bien. Buena musica, shows, bebidas, comida. En general, me gusto todo. Que tengas buen día.

    DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

    A deeply disappointing experience from start to finish My air conditioner was never fixed. From the day we checked in, we set it to 10°C, but the room never dropped below 22°C. The rooms are incredibly outdated, the water pressure is practically nonexistent, and it’s clear the resort does not have the capacity to accommodate the number of guests it accepts. Every meal—breakfast, lunch, or dinner—requires a wait of over 30 minutes just to get in, followed by more lines inside to get food. This is not what one expects from a company claiming to be worth $1.6 billion. We came as a family—over 90 people for five days—and the majority paid for the premium service, which was never delivered. Many of us had to request room changes due to broken air conditioners, non-functioning refrigerators, flooded bathrooms, and more. Additionally, when I checked in, I was assigned room #1118. Upon entering, I found open suitcases, underwear, and bras—clearly the room was already occupied. This level of carelessness is absolutely unacceptable. The “premium lounge” was also a disappointment—nothing in the refrigerator was actually cold. I sincerely encourage management to check this for themselves. After this experience, I can confidently say that none of us will ever stay at a Barceló property again. It was a huge letdown from beginning to end.

    Not what we expected!

    The hotel needs updates across all facilites. Some staff were very nice and other quite rude no consistency. Location and beach are excellent. Food taste was decent but not much variety.

    would it have been perfect if we hadn't been lecture of not respecting schedules for been 6 minutes late to lunch when only two elevators are working during lunch and check out time which are at 12 both

    Best massage

    Yolanda was very good at her job and everyone was extremely nice! Definitely recommend loved it so much and I usually get massages at every beach but this one by far was the absolute best! Definitely recommend coming if you’re staying at barcelo
