I hate we’re im from but I was glad to be back because of the crappy food .
We’re can I begin , buffet was not good , rooms were not good the shower pressure at times would trickle .rooms warm ac was warm . The only place open 24 hrs was strikers which is a small bowling alley and that food was like dining in at rikers island correctional facility and I bet you inmates there get better food .It has random leaves of cold cuts that looked straight out of some kids lunch box and randoms crappy scraps from the day sitting there This resort truly ruined our vacation with a family of three that really needed a vacation , people were throwing up in the main pool swim up bar on the right and people wouldn’t even clean it !! . And why are we waiting 20 minutes at the time in house lines to get a drink ? We did have some people bring us drinks to us and they were great …Rafael buffet ,maria buffet …Martha she was at the jaguars club she was great . The jaguars club was also probably the best place of this spot security was on point and could clean spills fast and really works hard in there except again the bar line , and the gym ..gym was excellent so was staff . Simple Don’t go there this place is not worth the money .

Do not recommend
- [ ] Kiddie pool automatically shuts off at 545 but pool closes at 7. And one of the kiddie pools always had something wrong with it like, empty or light hanging out of it or sprinkler not working. - [ ] Pool closes too early. I’m on vacation why is the pool closing so early in my opinion. - [ ] Staff is not lively, don’t smile. Honestly I felt bad for them. They looked miserable. Not the vibe of a staff I want to see on vacation. - [ ] Short staffed at the bars and sports bar/arcade. Everything took forever. Has to wait on long lines just to get a card for my kids to play games or reserve a pool table. I think the games should be included too. The bars had 2-3 people working at them. So it took long for drinks too. - [ ] They don’t play music by the pool. Again not the vibe I want on vacation. - [ ] Kids club has nothing in it but a ball pit and some tables. Kinda looked dirty to me and my daughter found a dirty bandaid on one of the balls in the pit. - [ ] Food at the buffet is not good at all. The worst thing about the trip was the food. And breakfast was always a line to get a table. - [ ] You need to upgrade your to premium in order to get good quality liquor - [ ] It’s hard to get dinner reservations - [ ] The ac is low everywhere (restaurants, bars, room) I understand it’s México but when I walk into a restaurant or bar or casino. It should feel a little decent. It was hot everywhere - [ ] Lots of young teenagers and young people getting drunk and throwing up. One threw up in the pool at the swim up bar and nobody did anything to clean it or get anyone out. So gross. - [ ] Buffet is so busy can’t even get water. Again so short staffed. It was so hard to get a refill of water. And they were so strict with the water too only 2 bottles a person at a time.

Excellent & Memorable Experience
The recent stay at Barcelo Maya Caribe was phenomenal. It exceeded all of our expectations. Upon arrival, guests are greeted warmly and the check-in process is seamless. The Jr. Suite with access to the pool and facing the ocean was clean and spacious. A daily-stocked mini-bar was a perk for quick refreshments. Exceptional dining was a highlight. With a variety of buffets, à la carte restaurants and gourmet options, every meal was a culinary adventure. Gracias a la excelente atención de, Alberto Bustos! 👌🏼 Memorable vacation, we will for sure be returning soon!
