Dec 28, 2025Fantastic Boutique Beach Hotel with a great Temazcal Experience
Had a wonderful, relaxing and indulgent visit at the Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel in Playa del Carmen. Gorgeous property with a real boutique feel, fantastic food - especially for an all inclusive - and one of the prettiest spa experiences I have had. Wonderful and attentive service, and we particularly enjoyed our Temazcal Experience with Dayanna, who was an expert guide through a truly eye opening journey. Also want to give credit for the fantastic beds - both my friend and I marveled at the quality of sleep we got during our stay. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay and temascal!
A beautiful and comfy hotel, with great staff, food and views. The highlight was our temascal with Dayana. She was an incredible guide- grounding and peaceful- and made our ceremony very memorable.

Wonderful stay at Blue Diamond
We had an amazing time at Blue Diamond. The resort is very serene and peaceful, with lots of opportunities to spot wildlife. We really enjoyed biking and walking everywhere. The beach is absolutely beautiful and it’s so nice to be able to walk quite far in either direction. The room was spacious and kept incredibly clean - our housekeeper was so kind and considerate! As vegetarians, there were almost always enough choices on the menu, but they also encouraged us to ask for off-menu if we needed to. On Mexico night, they made us delicious mushroom empanadas! We only ate at Ambar once because Aguamarina seemed to have a much better menu for us and it changed every night which was fun to experience. The staff are absolutely amazing and we had such a wonderful time getting to know them. Very special shoutout to the breakfast/lunch team at Aguamarina for making every morning memorable!!! We’d like to mention specifically Fernando, Bernabe, and Maria from Aguamarina and Hector and Erich in the golf carts! We are so grateful for your amazing hospitality!

Nice
This place is truly relaxing and quiet, perfect if you’re looking to disconnect and slow down. We really enjoyed how tranquil the experience was and would definitely come back to relax again.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The place is clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Everything was well organized and met our expectations.Overall, a nice experience and a good option for a relaxing stay.
