  Use Trip Advisor not expedia if you want a great vacation unlike my Expedia vacation

  The place was very old with townspeople apparently living on the resort. Bad food and stray cats everywhere. The TV in the room looked like it was 15 years old and tiny. I left within 8 hours. Expedia vacation that landed me in an airport on the other side of mountains for a horrible 1 1/2 hour drive. NEVER AGAIN!

  Disappointed Right From the Start – Poor Communication and Unwelcoming Arrival

  I had high hopes for our stay, especially since we were celebrating a birthday, but unfortunately, things went downhill even before we arrived. I sent two separate emails asking for assistance in advance, and neither received a reply. That lack of communication already set the tone. Despite parking being listed as included, there were no spots available when we arrived — not ideal when you’re arriving with luggage and expectations. We got to the hotel around noon, only to be told we could either pay $30 for early check-in or wait around without access to the facilities, as we weren’t even given bracelets and there was no guarantee our room would be ready by 3 PM. We even mentioned that it was a birthday trip, hoping for at least a small gesture or a bit more flexibility, but it made no difference whatsoever. Unfortunately, the experience left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated. Definitely not the start we were hoping for. Communication, hospitality, and guest experience need serious improvement.

  I HAVE VISITEDTHIS HOTEL THREETIMES . THE FIRST TIME WAS 2014 AND WAS REALLYGOOD' SECONDTIME 2018 WAS OK BUT NOW IS HORRIBLE. I COULDN'T EAT OR DRINK, EVERYTHINGWAS AWFUL. THE SERVICEWAS GOOD THOUGH, ESPECIALLY ANTONIO IN THE BUFFET.

  Welcome to your new favorite resort - welcoming people, great food, exceptional beach, a wide variety of food.

  This was my first solo trip - july 11 to 20 I've been to 9 resorts prior in my life, most of them in Cuba, once in DR. Now, the food here is excellent. There's variety and quality. They have chicken, beef, porc. There's a buffet and 3 restaurants 'à la carte' (italian, chinese, seafood). The italian was my personal favorite. Some items on the menu are at an extra charge but clearly marked and most are included in the "all-inclusive" package. The staff is exceptional. From day one I felt welcomed. The waiters are attentive and enthusiastic. The rooms are alright. I wouldnt say great but nothing wrong either. AC works very well, clean smelling, well kept rooms. Outdated furniture but that doesnt take away from the experience. The entertainement is very well organised. The bars are stocked. Overall this is my favorite resort. Although at this moment of the year, we were roughly 25 people in the resort. It would get a bit more occupied during the weekend by locals who come with family and friends. For those looking for a solid experience among friends, couples mostly who are looking for quiet. Bluebau Villas Doaradas is the place to be.
