AMAZING! The staff was so friendly, the food was great, the specialty restaurants were amazing, the buffet was filled with variety and clean. My room had the most beautiful view of the ocean with a balcony. There is a rooftop pool with a party vibe and a pool on the main level that is more chill, depending on what you like. The drinks were great as well! I would go back here again and again.

So many activities!
Loved all of the great activities at this resort. There is always something to do. The gym is amazing too. everyone on the entertainment team was so friendly and nice. Had great meals at the restaurant. Mauriso on room service always got my breakfast order perfect. The seating hostesses Nancy, Yanet and Deysi at Spoon were so friendly and kind to me. I will be back.

We were only about a 40 minute drive from airport to resort. But of course traffic as heavy. Room and accommodations were very clean. You can tell this is a newer resort. The noise level was annoying. Our first night the outside entertainment was directly below our rooms, and did not quit until 11. We were very tried from traveling and this was exhausting. We complained the next morning in the XHale club and they assured us this would be not very night. But the next night was the same. Food was good. Service was great. Pool areas were fun.

Short but great stay
Was here in early October for 4 days. We have been to all-inclusive resorts many times in Mexico, but never right in the Cancun hotel strip. It was a very different experience than being further south in Mexico. To me this was more like being in South Beach Miami. Just high rise hotels for the most part. That's not necessarily bad, just very different from the lush tropical feeling you get at other resorts further south. The hotel itself is quite beautiful. Very modern and extremely clean. Our room was on the 22nd floor and had an ocean view. The room was very comfortable. The bed was cozy, and the shower was great. The enormous rain head shower was awesome. Be aware that rooms here have an open bathroom. The shower is all glass and is in full view of the rest of the room. There is a blind you can lower to give a bit of privacy between the shower and the main part of the room, but you should be very comfortable with the person you are sharing a room with. They'll get an eye full for sure! One negative thing I noticed about this hotel because it is right in Cancun is that, there is a lot of traffic noise. All day and all night. We only noticed it from our room and not outside by the pool, etc. But if you wanted to have a relaxing drink on your balcony it was quite noisy. Minor annoyance. Something I did not realize before booking is that there is no dinner buffet. Dinner is only available at the ala carte restaurants. We never had issues getting seated but were there right when the restaurants opened to ensure we didn't wait. Not sure how long of a wait you may have if you arrive at 8pm for dinner. There are no reservations for dinner except for the Hibachi dinner (extra $). I think it was $60USD for the Hibachi. Honestly, it was worth it. The food was great, the chef put on a great show, and you are on the top floor of the hotel with great views. There was lightening in the distance, it was very cool to see from that high up. Lunch and dinner are served in the main buffet restaurant and there was a pool side grill as well for lunch. Lunch and breakfast were always excellent. I'm not sure if the hotel was less busy when we went, but we never had issues getting chairs by the main pool or the rooftop pool. We did not pay extra for the Xhale club, so I cannot say if that pool was busy. However, you could walk out to the pool at noon and have your choice of chairs. That was so refreshing as at my AI resorts, if you're not up at the crack of dawn to get chairs, you are SOL. Each morning the staff put out towels on every seat by the pool, so no hunting for the towel hut which was awesome. By mid afternoon the pool started to fill up. A few little things to note. There are no wrist bands, no towel cards, or anything like that. You actually get to be treated like an adult and not a child with a bracelet. Loved this. Will I come back. Yes and no. Zero knocks against the hotel. To complain would honestly be nit-picking to a ridiculous level, however, I prefer a resort that are not high rise style. More walking through the lush vegetation, low rise buildings, etc. If you don't mind the more hotel zone feel, then you'll love this hotel!
