Total waste of money!
Don’t waste your money. From the minute we walked in the lobby we have not been happy. We were not offered a welcome drink. We had to carry our bags and try to find our room with no direction what so ever. The coffee is literally light tan water - disgusting. The staff take forever to clean tables in the morning so by the time you get to sit your food is cold. They don’t sell sweat shirts in the shop and instead tell you to walk to Baja Mar where a basic one costs $165! Let’s not forget about the bartenders - if you don’t tip, good luck getting a drink. I stood right in front of (3) bartenders and they each made eye contact several times but waited on other people around me before I finally asked if I was standing in the wrong spot. If customers are expected to tip then you should say that during the booking. I don’t travel with cash so advance notice would have been nice but every customer should be treated equal regardless. If it’s cold they will not give you an extra towel at the pool either. We had 20 mile an hour winds and temp only in the 60’s to low 70’s (no sweatshirt in gift shop). There are plenty of better resorts to choose from. I will not recommend or be back.

Breezes Bahamas
All-round great experience from Manny grabbing our bags and handing us a starter beverage, Pops was fantastic on beach games, Miss Emily setting our group up poolside daily Ricardo was perfect with the Goombay Smash. Restaurants were very nice buffet had a good daily variety. Rooms were a bit dated but who goes on vacation to spend time in their room. Nightly entertainment was very enjoyable.

OVERALL..this resort is well worth the money you spend, people were friendly and helpful, and in a safe environment
Ok, here is the real deal…vacation dates 2-12 to 2-19 2026 Location is pretty close to the airport, taxi ride there is about $35 plus tip Atmosphere is great, beach is fine powder sand, with plenty of loungers, towel service and an outdoor grill accessible from the pools as well as the beach. This grill has a decent menu for lunch. They plan all kinds of games for the beach, cornhole tournaments, volleyball, beach bingo, ladder golf and trivia contests. There are 3 bars serving all the fruity drinks you can imagine, plus beer and wine. The beach bar(1) closes at 6 pm, but the hotel bars(2)open at 6:30 each night. Yes the drinks tend to be a bit weak…but you can ask for extras and they are happy to mess you up. These bars can get pretty busy so double your drink order or bring an insulated bottle, they will fill them with your favorite drink. Tip the crew, but don’t expect them to remember you for better service. Food was overall good, buffet runs breakfast, lunch and dinner. Go early to the buffet because some of the favorite items, shrimp, sushi, desserts go fast and are not restocked, but main dishes are. We ate at all 3 specialty restaurants and they were good. Once again go early or after 8pm for no waiting. Reservations can be made for parties over 6, but couples cannot reserve. Rooms are clean but dated, there is no mini fridge…bummer..the beach view can be a bit noisy, we chose the garden view and it was very nice. The rooms aren’t insulated from noise very well, so we used the auto fan on high during the night to drown out the neighbors. Service was very good, my girlfriend had a sinus headache and they referred us to the on site dispensary for some meds, nurse on duty. Inside the main entry are game rooms, pool tables, ping pong, and lots of board games. There is live music almost nighty, dance lesson, and a downstairs disco bar that’s open til 2am, they plan events every nite. Tips, take the bus downtown for $2, taxis run $30 to go just about anywhere. Souvenirs, there is an open air market south of the Bar Ha Mar hotel next the Breezes, they will bargain with you, lots of good junk. Bring sunscreen, it’s close to $30 per tube in the gift shop. Bring $1s and $5s for tipping Don’t buy the “Cuban” cigars sold on the beach by walking vendors Book your side trips on line not on the beach from walking vendors save $$ Bring insulated drink containers

Service and dining needs approvement
The beach is absolutely beautiful, and the pool area is a great place to relax and unwind. While the rooms and overall resort could use a facelift, it’s still a nice place to escape from the daily work routine. The major issues we experienced were with dining. The breakfast buffet was very frustrating. We went around 9:30 a.m., and every unoccupied table was covered with dirty dishes. There was only one small area where staff were piling dirty dishes, and it was located very close to where clean dishes were being placed for guests, which did not seem sanitary. At one point, I stood by a table that was finally being cleaned, and the staff member told me it was for another guest and walked away without offering to clean a different table or assist me. It felt unorganized and poorly managed. Dinner was also disappointing. If you don’t arrive before 6:00 p.m., you’re often turned away and told there are no available tables, with wait times of up to an hour. Even then, there is no waiting list or guarantee you’ll get in. We were forced to eat at the dinner buffet multiple nights, and the food quality was not great. If the resort could improve its dining organization and table cleanup process, it would greatly enhance the overall guest experience. The location and beach are wonderful, but the dining experience needs significant improvement.

Great staff, drinks, and beach
Drinks and entertainment were great, Dale at the bar made a great rum punch every time, D'von and Linn went above and beyond to get everyone in the activities. Rooms were dated with very little water pressure, but the staff and the beach were top notch.
