Beautiful day in Paradise!
Beach, pool and resort were beautiful, lots of food options, plenty of seating and umbrellas, drinks were delicious and friendly attentive staff.

No Marble, No Gold, But Does Trick
Breezes is neither made for a gold and marble experience, nor does it exist of it. But that does not mean it not does "its" trick. The room I stayed in (right side wing if sea is in front of you) was old. I learnt the property is the first Breezes, and that might mean they never renovated. Add drinks from plastic cups and a very noisy central square, and you know you are in an all-inclusive party and activity, work hard - play hard resort. I always wonder why this type of resorts avoids use of glassware. Is it because they think to know their customers being binge drinkers and violent? For the record not my impression - More hopefully just a cost saver. It just bothers me not to drink from glassware on my holidays; makes you wonder if home is not a more decent place than the hotel you paid big bucks for. The resort type of CHIC on Antigua and Deja on Jamaica, which in neither case appeared to be a match with me either. But hey, low investment, no marble & gold return to be expected. Via a friend, I received a discount. I am not perfectly sure I would have paid the amounts I see passing by online without it. Do I complain? No. I knew what I signed up for - no marble & gold.

Great quick getaway
My husband and I was at Breezes Aug 20-23, 2025. It's a lovely hotel. Yes, the rooms are dated but we didn't spend much time in the room. The staff was so friendly. Im glad I didn't listen to the bad reviews. I was concerned about hurricane Erin but she didNOT hit Nassau. It rained for about an hour Thursday & the rest of time sunshine. The Banana Boat is buffet style & open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We went to Garden of Eden and Munsan (different nights as those were open on different days). The beach is absolutely beautiful. They do get alot of cruise ship people on day passes so just beware.

Save your money and hang out on the ship
Well it started with rude bus/trip coordinator, she was rude from the beginning (getting off the ship) to the end. Her name badge was covered by her vest conveniently. Whether getting on the bus to go or getting on the bus to leave, she was equally $itchy to everyone. The initial bus driver was not friendly in the least. We didn’t want to get off the bus in the wine chocolate slums but he wouldn’t let us stay on the bus. His boss came along after he made us get off and let us get back on to wait for the others. Maybe you have to be super serious to drive in this hellacious traffic… think suicidal angry birds on wheels! The wine tasting is to taste one wine. The whole area was sketchy and a tourist trap for the buses to stop for 30 minutes. Breezes itself looked great getting there. Pretty check in area… but brace yourself… there is NO shade whatsoever. The sun umbrellas are scare and scrawny. The one pool with shade you aren’t allowed to get into until 1pm!!! If you do the all inclusive, you just get access to a few extra chairs in the blazing sun! The drinks were hit or miss. If you have to go to the bar to get your drink, be prepared to have to toss it, I think they are angry to be there. The butlers for the unlimited area were super nice and helpful but you have to stay put and scorch to utilize them. They had crews taking and burying the sea weed. Tons of seaweed in all of the swimming area. The beaches were gorgeous but lack of shade or ability to escape the crazy heat made it miserable. The food was good… try the fish and chips or the jerk chicken (but be prepared it is super spicy and delicious). To play volleyball in the pool, the activities director said go ahead, then some other guy came screaming to get out and that area was closed till 1 also. The bus driver taking us back (imagine snoop dog in his younger prime years) was super sweet and made up for the other one that was not. Would I do this excursion again? Nope. Pretty miserable day I would have been better off staying on the ship.

All the positive reviews are true - take the negatives with a grain of salt
All the consistent good reviews are true. The resort is on the best area of Cable Beach (watch for stingrays, manta rays and we saw a small shark cruising by - very cool). Although we were there when the resort was mostly empty, it looks like there are plenty of beach loungers when there is a full house (although shade may be at a premium). When cruise ships are in port (every day!) there is an influx of day pass customers but they tended to stay around the pool and did not cause any negative impact. The public beach gets busy but they are not allowed onto the Breezes property or beach frontage. The Italian a la carte was closed for renovations, but we ate in the Garden of Eden and the Japanese. Nothing special but nothing to complain about either. Same for the main buffet – lots to eat for even picky guests, and seemed to include a gluten free or vegetarian option at all meals. The Thursday gala meal included turkey with all the fixings. The snack bar at the pool was very good - don't be scared, try the conch fritters. The resort may be older and somewhat dated, but it is spotless and housekeeping was wonderful. Note: there are no usable upper floor balconies at Breezes. The patio door opens onto a platform that is only about 12 inches wide with a railing. It is suitable only for hanging your bathing suits out to dry. I think that all higher floor rooms are "partial ocean view" if you just turn your head. As some have mentioned, the tap water is drinkable but has a bit of an odd taste, but to brush teeth etc it is fine. Water in the restaurants seemed extra filtered. All of the staff were very friendly, with a special shout out to the front desk ladies who helped us through the nightmare of an airline strike that affected our return flight. Having never been, we found the Bahamas to be “Jamaica lite”, with similar but toned down food spiciness, the local accent was much less patois, and with a really happy vibe. Bahamian music is nicely bouncy and up beat. The house band at Breezes is excellent. Remember that this is not Atlantis or Baha Mar or some high end snooty resort. But you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the beach, the food, the booze and the Bahamanian people for a reasonable price,
