Jul 25, 2025Perfect boutique hotel
We had the swim out room and loved it. It’s so great having your lounge chairs outside your room and the walk upstairs are so convenient, not to mention the swim up bar just outside my room. Highly recommend 10/10. Love the boutique hotel vibe it’s so intimate and lovely. Staff is genuinely amazing and made our trip even more special. The food in the restaurant is amazing and bar service was awesome. I couldn’t ask for anything more Highly recommend “Tout Bagay “ tour it’s a great way to see a little bit of everything this beautiful island has to offer. Loved this vacation. No notes.

We loved every moment of our trip to Calabash Cove. From arrival to departure, all the staff were friendly, responsive, and solicitous. They were happy to help in whatever way possible. The private beach was relaxing and easily accessible—we particularly loved hanging out in the off-shore water hammocks and reading in the shade. And the food? It was glorious! We had an amazing time!

Good and not so good… I wrote this as I spent hours trying to choose the right all inclusive hotel. Positives- beautiful location and views. Great pool, lots of places to relax. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Beach is lovely and good place to watch sunsets. Negatives- not as luxurious as it makes out. Rooms are a bit tired, amenities in rooms are lacking a little for what you’d expect at a 4 star hotel. Construction work- unfortunately the roofs of the rooms were being replaced whilst we were there for 2 out of the 3 days we were staying. There was no advice about this and also no apology on check out. Very sad when you come from a busy city to escape to have some peace and there’s constant work all day. Food- it’s ok, but I don’t think it’s just the calabash. Found the food in general ( Barbados/ Grenada/ Saint Lucia) very average. Just don’t go with high expectations. Overall it’s hard to compare this hotel to say a 4 star hotel in Dubai, as the standards are very very different. But if you want a rustic island feel boutique quiet (when no construction work) in a good location then go for it! Maybe just not all inclusive.

Absolutely amazing experience
Calabash Cove is an amazing all-inclusive resort full of great employees and amenities. It’s incredibly nice having a small resort tucked away. You share a private and secluded beach with only your fellow guests complete with ocean hammocks, beach hammocks, great two person kayaks, and paddle boards. Snorkeling gear is available at the front desk. The best bartenders on the island keep the drinks coming and are very friendly and personable, always down to chat and tell you more about their home country. Shout to Joaquim, Teddy, and Christian! The restaurant is absolutely amazing, top notch chefs. Everything was amazing and displayed beautifully. The wait staff is amazing as well, always checking in on you with a smile. Room service was excellent and the cleaning staff very good at keeping our room in tip top shape. The concierges are always very knowledgeable and helpful, always helping you make arrangements for excursions on the island. My wife and I greatly enjoyed every bit of our time at the resort and would love to come again one day.

Breathtaking and Reset
The experience was beautiful, calming and relaxing. The views from breakfast, to lunch to pool, from cottage is all breathe taking. Big shout out to Joaquim, Jade, Merlisa for making the stay great and being there for support, drinks, romantic dinner, and all the in between. We felt safe, and taken care of by all the staff! Thank you for a great honeymoon experience!
