- Other Local AttractionsAltos de Chavon artists village is a vibrant cultural community perched above the Chavon River. cobblestone paths, coral stone fountains and terra cotta buildings create a magical effect in this village designed by Roberto Coppa, an Italian architect who at the time was a Paramount movies set designer. He built Altos de Chavon in the late 1970s to emulate a 15th century southern Italy-southern Spain village. Visitors today discover craft workshops, artists’ studios, galleries and restaurants. Weddings are frequent at the St. Stanislaus Church, as few places can be more romantic than Altos de Chavon. The performing arts are showcased in the village’s 5,000-seat amphitheatre, inaugurated in 1982 by Frank Sinatra and is still attracting top name performers. Visit the Regional Museum of Archaeology, a small but wonderful display of the Island’s rich pre-Columbian heritage. The Art Gallery features contemporary art exhibitions.

Absolutely amazing resort with the best staff and beautiful landscape
This was our first time at Casa de Campo, and we couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. We will certainly be back again in the future, and next time with our children. There’s so much for a family to do there, it would be the perfect family vacation destination. We stayed in the Premier Suites, thanks to an unexpected upgrade when we arrived, and the room was beautiful, cleaned every day, sometimes twice, and stocked with whatever you would need. We had our own concierge, Yesenia R., who was so helpful with our bookings for activities, meal reservations, and questions we had while there. The Premier Club had a bar, lounge, and snacks at all hours of the day, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. All we encountered were genuinely friendly and outgoing, with clear intentions that they wished you the best experience. We encountered Sebastian, Axell, Eury, Jose G., Luis R., and Sergio G. during our time there and all of them were kind, helpful, and had large smiles on their faces. You could tell this was a place that treated their employees well, as everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy their job. While the entire staff as a whole was great, we felt a particular kinship with Sergio G., and got to learn about his immense love for his family, his time at CDC, and his love for the job. He was an extra special touch to our vacation, and we look forward to seeing him when we return! 1000% recommend for a vacation spot where you won’t want to leave!

A gem in the Caribbean
We stayed at the premier suites and had a fabulous time. Two things I would improve on is the registration process and the food offers. The registration is quite arduous and the room should be ready earlier. As for the food I think they should vary the servings and not have cookies in the morning but at night. I would like to highlight exceptional service from Euri who drove us everywhere, Yulissa who served us great drinks and Verny who was extremely response to any of our needs.Everyone here is so nice and spoke great English. This was our first trip and we will be back. Thank you

Awesome golf at an excellent all-inclusive
Amazing resort. Friendly staff, amazing golf, good facilities and excellent dinning experiences. Highly recommended as an all inclusive. I love the use of individual golf carts to roam the property. Very practical given the size of the resort.

10/10 Would Recommend
Deyanira Nuñez and Kevin made our stay here so wonderful! They had an incredible breakfast ready for us every day with a variety of fresh fruits, pancakes, eggs and more. The villa was cleaned every day while we were out and about, and on the days we decided to hang around the pool they were very attentive with bringing water, juice, sandwiches, or anything else we requested. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Beautiful resort in idyllic setting
Our family (of 4) loves Casa de Campo (college-age kids), from the arrival (spa-like aroma of the lobby, the welcome wine, help with luggage) to the lodging (we love the Casitas), idyllic setting, friendly staff, and all the activities. We enjoy golf, racquet facilities, pools, horseback riding, skeet shooting, spa, gym, restaurants, pools and the beach. It's ideal if you prefer these activities in a quieter, idyllic setting without a commercial feel (there are no high rises or shopping malls). The staff is very friendly (though you need to be patient with language). You do need to understand the package you are paying for, what's included and not included, double check your bill. The concierge can get busy, so more concierge people would be helpful--I would recommend booking restaurants and activities before arrival.
