- Other Local AttractionsAltos de Chavon artists village is a vibrant cultural community perched above the Chavon River. cobblestone paths, coral stone fountains and terra cotta buildings create a magical effect in this village designed by Roberto Coppa, an Italian architect who at the time was a Paramount movies set designer. He built Altos de Chavon in the late 1970s to emulate a 15th century southern Italy-southern Spain village. Visitors today discover craft workshops, artists’ studios, galleries and restaurants. Weddings are frequent at the St. Stanislaus Church, as few places can be more romantic than Altos de Chavon. The performing arts are showcased in the village’s 5,000-seat amphitheatre, inaugurated in 1982 by Frank Sinatra and is still attracting top name performers. Visit the Regional Museum of Archaeology, a small but wonderful display of the Island’s rich pre-Columbian heritage. The Art Gallery features contemporary art exhibitions.

I must say that without a doubt, our stay in Casa de Campo this past week, was the most pleasant and relaxing we have ever had in the Dominican Republic. The staff is magnificent, truly an asset. We will like to thank so many people for the great treatment starting with our onboarding agent Joan, truly a professional. Also, my boys: Sergio, Jose Gil, Euri (you won), Luis, Sebastian, among others. These guys really know how to make a guess feel among family with their kindness and carrying. We hope to see you very very soon. Thanks again for a great vacation.

Awesome
We traveled here for a wedding and were blown away. As a couple who is well traveled among 4-5 star resorts, this resort is up there as one of the best. The food was phenomenal. Casa was by far the best all-inclusive resort we have traveled to considering food, resort and location. The liquor was also top notch unlike some all-inclusive resorts that give bottom of the barrel quality alcohol if it's all included. All of the cocktails were awesome. Lago for breakfast and lunch was so good. The food trucks were also delicious - everything cooked fresh on the spot. The property is HUGE but everyone gets a golf cart and staff is so accommodating and helpful if you need a private ride in a shuttle. Sabino was the kindest man, he helped us with whatever we needed. All of the staff are so genuine and super eager to help with anything at all to make the stay a memorable one. I traveled here with my husband but will be back with our children next. We are joking that we need to find more friends to get married here. Would 100% recommend this place for a destination wedding, family trip or getaway without kids.

Amazing wedding destination! Beautiful resort! Amazing staff! 10/10
We traveled to Casa de Campo for the wedding of a dear friend. The wedding venue at the resort was breathtaking, and the service and attentiveness of the wedding staff was impeccable. Our accommodations and amenities of the new Premier Club were luxurious and exceeded our expectations. Ultimately, what will bring us back as guests to Casa de Campo is the welcoming, genuine, amazing staff of the resort. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed throughout the week. One staff member, Sergio G., who was part of the transportation/guest services team, stood out among them all. Sergio took great pride in his job, not only getting us to our events in a timely manner, but telling us about the property, recommending restaurants and services, and embodying the beautiful spirit of the Dominican people. We truly hope Sergio is there on our next visit!
