- Other Local AttractionsAltos de Chavon artists village is a vibrant cultural community perched above the Chavon River. cobblestone paths, coral stone fountains and terra cotta buildings create a magical effect in this village designed by Roberto Coppa, an Italian architect who at the time was a Paramount movies set designer. He built Altos de Chavon in the late 1970s to emulate a 15th century southern Italy-southern Spain village. Visitors today discover craft workshops, artists’ studios, galleries and restaurants. Weddings are frequent at the St. Stanislaus Church, as few places can be more romantic than Altos de Chavon. The performing arts are showcased in the village’s 5,000-seat amphitheatre, inaugurated in 1982 by Frank Sinatra and is still attracting top name performers. Visit the Regional Museum of Archaeology, a small but wonderful display of the Island’s rich pre-Columbian heritage. The Art Gallery features contemporary art exhibitions.

All staff members I dealt with are highly competent, very friendly, very well trained and highly qualified. They should be highly appreciated because they are what makes the resort function so well.

Loved everything about it!
This was our second year going to Casa de Campo on a girls trip. We are a group of 40 year old Mom’s and we find it is the perfect mix of relaxation and fun! Food is AMAZING! We ate dinners at La Piazzetta, Causa, SBG (so much fun if you also want to dance), and Chilango. Would go back to all of those restaurants. Lunches were always at the beach - nice simple delicious food. Breakfast at Lago always had a great selection. We stayed in the Premier Suites and the rooms are incredible. Lots of space to move around, great storage, and a large luxurious bathroom. The staff everywhere on the property is incredible. We were always greeted warmly and had great interactions with everyone. Our standout team at the Premier Suites - Euri, Luis, Israel, Sergio and Gabriel treated us like gold and made us feel safe. We are looking forward to coming back next year!

Peaceful Resort Experience
Our stay at Casa de Campo was spectacular. The only unfortunate part was that we had to leave! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and luxurious getaway.

Cocktails at the La Cana pool
Roberto C at the La Cana pool was amazing - fabulous bartender and host - he makes the best dirty monkeys - and was brilliant with our 2 year old grandson

Really, really good food
What a fab restaurant. The food is great and the staff lovely. What was especially good was the offer to have the edamame served plain, just with salt if I liked. I am so keen to come back and eat here again I shall be booking ASAP
