Beautiful and peaceful retreat
I really enjoyed my weekend stay here and would happily return. On arrival the lobby area gives a great first impression, being light and airy and the reception staff were excellent and welcoming. It was a short walk to my room at the far end of the complex and despite having booked one of their entry level rooms I was very impressed. It was really large with huge bed, plenty of storage, electric sockets and USB at both sides of the bed, large bed and decent desk with TV. There was a separate ‘kitchen’ area with mini bar, coffee machine and bottled water provided. The bathroom was separated, which also was spacious with plenty of storage around the sink and a large walk in shower. The toiletries in dispensers on the wall were nice, there were plenty of towels and the space was a delight to use. One of the best bits of the room was the view - although not an ocean front room the views were still great and the small patio with chairs was great to relax and watch the sunset from. The air-conditioning was really good inside when wanting to cool down from a day outside too. The swimming pool isn’t large but is very pleasant - a nice number of loungers surrounding, views over the ocean and lots of to admire with the statues and design of the area too. Taking a walk down to the private beach is well worth it since it’s a great retreat. There’s lots of different sections to relax on the loungers provided, whether you want to be close to the sea or up a level away from it. It was a shame the (what looked like) outdoor bar wasn’t open during my visit but for the sheer peacefulness and few people it wins. There’s a small but nice bar just off the lobby, with some sofa seating and seats at the bar. There’s a good range of drinks offered, including a couple of lagers on tap, and service is always fast and friendly. Sitting out the terrace outside is great, just a shame there’s no easy way to order refills while out there. The restaurant isn’t open all day and closes briefly after breakfast and lunch, but when open is a great spot. The menu isn’t massive but most people should be satisfied. The portions are huge and everything was always tasty. A large choice of fish was available each day and there’s a real sense of eating local produce. Large choice of wine available and the atmosphere is nice. Great views over the ocean continue and you’re also able to dine outside on the terrace too. The waiting service was always superb and I didn’t have a bad experience there once. Overall this was a great hotel and if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay, especially with a private beach, then you should consider here - I feel it deserves more than it’s three-star category!

Private paradise on the beach
We loved this beachfront location! We arrived before our room was ready and the hotel staff was so accommodating and helped us get into vacation mode and the pool and beach while they held our bags. Once in the room, we were impressed by the view and cleanliness. The bed was very comfy! The overall theme was calm and cute. The beach and pool have chairs and umbrellas and towels all ready for you. Hotel dining was a great experience. They had a variety of options- the samosa, ribeye, and beef short rib were delicious! The hotel is situated on the island where you can easily get to either side using the public transportation bus. Don’t overlook this small resort. It felt like a private paradise!

Bermuda perfected
I have a shot of the beach at Coco Reef as the backdrop on my computer, but I have to point out to people that it is not some stock photo of perfection but an actual photo of perfection. Coco Reef beach is an ultimate instance of Bermuda. Sapphire and emerald seas gently lapping a pink beach with sand as soft as talcum powder. The two story buildings are arranged on terraces that rise from the water, their characteristic Bermuda white roofs glowing in the sunlight. They house recently refurbished rooms that have a quiet, pastel elegance. And incredibly comfortable beds. The walk down to the beach gives you a breathtaking vista, however the price is the walk back up. But it helps you rationalize the cocktails that they serve you to your lounger. And that service is what makes this place truly wonderful. The staff here are incredible and always willing to help and to chat. They aren’t just friendly, they start with the assumption that you are their friend. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone I know.

We will return!
Two of us just returned home from a six day stay at this magical hotel. From day one, the hotel was everything we could have ask for. It was clean and hosted by a great staff who paid attention to detail with every question asked. The rooms were so comfortable it was hard to get out of bed in the morning! The restaurant was consistently very well managed and the food was always flavorful and well prepared. And of course, the beach - the aqua colored water that sparkled from the rays of the sun. The beach was also never crowded, with plenty of chairs and umbrellas to go around. The resort was only a couple of miles by cab from Hamilton and easy access to other amenities. We will certainly return.

Wonderful escape and memories
We certainly enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere of Coco Reef Resort. The staff is welcoming and very helpful, the food is good, and the room is cleaned daily. The best part of our stay is the gorgeous beach complete with complimentary umbrella and chairs. We look forward to returning to this lovely and memorable resort.
