Apr 26, 2025More rusty and outdated than rustic
We were looking forward to this trip after reading all the amazing reviews. Unfortunately i did not share the same experience as most of the others. View and beaches are beautiful, though lounge chairs on the beach could use newer and cleaner cushions. Infinity pool on my deck, that i paid extra, could use a cleaning. Pebbles, bugs and previous guest hair were floating all week while we were there. Now it is sad when you are in a paradise and all you want is to go back home, because your bed is so uncomfortable, and you get up every morning with aches and pain in your back. Advertised rustic style really means rusty, outdated and a bit neglected. My biggest disappointment was when we were turned down for lunch when we arrived to the dining room at 2:15, and lunch was supposed to be served until 2:30. Food is just ok and comparable to other places on the island. Some dishes were very good, others good, and others were mediocre. All in all this is not the place i would be willing to go back to unfortunately.

We visited Cocos for our 25th wedding anniversary. The food, staff, beaches, and room were all great! Be prepared to walk as the resort is built on a hill with many stairs but we didn’t mind. Would return!

Apr 25, 2025A Week in Paradise
We just returned from a week at Cocos. The property, landscaping, and cottages are very clean and well kept. The 2 beaches and views everywhere around you are simply unmatched. Overall, staff were very welcoming and attentive to our needs. Occasionally encountered a staff member who didn’t seem overly excited to be there. Pool could use some work but with the 2 beaches and pristine waters, it did not bother us. Food was good overall, some dishes blew us away and some were underwhelming, but we always found something we liked and never went hungry. Don’t miss out on the Sunset Grill on Valley Church Beach! Drinks were good and strong, bartenders are great! We had a great, relaxing week and would return in the future.

Best trip we have taken, bar none.
My wife and I are both nurses and live a life of constant stress and interruptions. Cocos allowed us to unplug from the world and enjoy each other's company on our 41st wedding Anniversary. The location is breathtaking and our Sunset pool cottage was more than we could ever have expected. We have traveled a great deal over the past many years and we cannot think of a place we stayed where the staff was so attentive, thoughtful, and kind. The food and drink surpassed our expectations and our Private Beach Dinner was something that we will never forget. Cocos needs to be on your bucket list.

Romantic Getaway
Love the Cocos Hotel Antiqua. It was an anniversary trip that was more like a second honeymoon because of the joys of the Cocos Hotel. We had one of the rooms with a plunge pool. It was spectacular to watch the sunset from the plunge pool with a glass of wine. I won't soon forget the joys of this hote.
