Great Value-packed Place for New Years!
What a great celebration of New Years. This was our 3rd or 4th visit to this Courtyard and it remains reliably delightful. From Gloria Chon, the lady who maintained our room to Julian (?) at breakfast outdoors, theProperty Manager Brian, Oscar at the bar in the evenings and his sidekick to the pool staff, front desk...in fact every single person we encountered was solicitous of our well being and anything we needed, they strove to provide. You'd have to go far to find a more pleasant place to greet the new year. They had a delightful poolside celebration complete with New Year's Hats, Noisemakers and Champagne and great music! The fireworks both at the Courtyard as well as those easily visible from the much larger properties across the street were wonderful (although the really vigorous celebrators setting off the long strings of firecrackers favored in Aruba at 4AM was a little more than my old bones would have preferred. Even so, everyone had a great, safe time, etc. There are so many great restaurants and bars (checkout the Saloon for non-tops karaoke & the Bohemian Grill restaurant for great eats! and Pinchos Bar & Grill for great food and sunsets! We had such a good time, we've decided to make New Years in Aruba a repeat event! Great value for money!

Great service at Marriott Courtyard Aruba and excellent employees. Dec. 9-13th 2025
I spent 4 nights at Marriott Courtyard with my husband, Francis. The room and the food and employees were excellent. Especially Sandy at the towel hut which I was surprised to not see her at the front. Why was she moved? She belongs in the front. Daniel at the restaurant was super nice and he even brought my husband some ice for his sprained ankle. He went above and beyond his job. Andy at the towel hut was very nice also and helpful. All the people at the restaurant that were servers were awesome. They were: Yosman, Frenda, Eddy, Juliet, Marlene and Ana Roos. Upon arrival Franco and Jose remembered us and was great with assisting us with our bags. At the front desk, Marvin and Jeki were super great to greet us upon arrival and assist us as well as Leonardo who checked us in. I love staying here as everyone is super nice and happy to help in any way. Alejandra and Marie did a great job in cleaning the room. Marriott courtyard has great employees. They all deserve recognition for a job well done. The pool was enjoyable and the room and bed were comfortable. I stayed from Dec. 9th to Dec. 13th, thanks for everything. Masha Danki!!!!! Overpriced bad location
I rarely leave negative reviews, but the Courtyard Marriott Aruba was an absolute joke—especially given the premium prices charged over Christmas–New Year’s. The beach accommodations are terrible. There is no real beachfront experience, seating is limited and poorly managed, and nothing about it comes close to justifying peak holiday pricing. Overall, the hotel feels subpar on every level compared to what you’d expect from a Marriott property in Aruba. To make matters worse, the hotel is next to a bar that blasts music until around 5 a.m., making it extremely difficult to sleep. Between the noise and the lack of amenities, the experience was frustrating and disappointing given the cost.
- AdvisoryMarriott’s Aruba Ocean Club will be undergoing the soft goods villa refurbishment. Work will occur daily during daytime hours, so please anticipate some construction noise during this time. All other resort amenities are expected to remain open and fully operational for your enjoyment.
