    Not overly impressed

    You are 15-20 minutes to almost everywhere. We rented a couple vehicles and found travel pr3tty easy.

    A Birthday and Anniversary Paradise

    My spouse and I stayed at this hotel for 6 days. The main entrance set the tone with stunning views of the pool and beach. We celebrated our milestone birthday and wedding anniversary, and the hotel didn't disappoint, greeting us with friendly cards, a bottle of champagne, and sweet treats! We were fortunate to receive a room upgrade to an oceanfront room (Room 192). The staff and management were friendly and outstanding and made us feel at home. We visited many beaches, but Parasasa Beach at the Marriott was our favorite, with smooth currents and small crowds. We made sure our day ended with a swim at the beach before dinner. I would have given it 5 stars, but the maid service was inconsistent, American tipping culture crept in, and we had trouble opening our room door because we were both locked in and out! But after we complained 2 days later, maintenance moved quickly and spent an hour fixing the problem. We had no problems for the remainder of our visit.

    Incredible resort!

    ...as a Marriott Lifetime Platinum member, I've been to a lot of Marriott properties - and this resort is top-notch wonderful! The moment you arrive, you just know your vacation is going to be special. All of the staff.... from the front desk, housekeeping, food waiters and bartenders go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. We ate at all the restaurants and food quality is superb! A little tip for you (if you are an adult) hang out at the far right hand beach. It's very quiet and has THE BEST snorkeling....and a beach bar with service (be sure to get Jaymy as your bartender - he knows his stuff!) They have a great dive shop on site as well... I hate that we had to leave BUT this resort will be on our return list for sure!!

    Unforgettable dining experience at Salty Iguana

    Location is excellent, atmosphere very accommodating and service outstanding. Jaymy, Josh, and Rolly went far and beyond in providing us an exceptional dining experience.
