Sep 15, 2025Major Construction Renovations to Main Pool & Pool Decks
Major Construction and Renovations currently ongoing and for the next 6 months. Very loud construction vehicles jack hammering all the concrete in the large main pool and main pool decks all being demolished. Extremely loud noise outside. Very difficult to navigate down to the beach. We could not even enjoy the beach area because the construction noise was so loud it was horrible. Had we known the property was under major renovations like this we would have never booked into this property. There is zero mention of the construction to warn the customers. Nothing stated on Hilton.com booking site nor any 3rd party booking sites. Beware of this for the next 6 months at least.

Joe at the concierge desk was great! He was able to help us with dinner reservations and things to do around the area. He went above and beyond! The hotel is nice and has some really amazing water views. I’ll definitely be back!

Amazing as always
We love the Diplomat! Everyone that works there is extremely courteous and professional. Especially…the concierge Joe Lombardo. He’s extremely friendly and knowledgeable, always has great suggestions regarding local entertainment and restaurants. He’s definitely an asset to the hotel and is one of the reason we’ve been here three years in a row. Side note…the hotel is still under renovations, and we really miss the “bottom” pool and the amazing Playa Club (former) location. Hopefully it’ll be completed before our September 2026 visit. It is a highly recommended hotel 👍

The Best Birthday Week Ever!!!!!!!!!
To Whom It May Concern, We just wanted to give a huge shout out to the best birthday week. We stayed at the Diplomat Beach Resort on Hollywood Beach in Florida. We stayed there from August 2-8. It was beyond amazing. The facility is well maintained and clean at all times. You have some very amazing people on your hotel staff. Let’s start with the top. Patrick the hotel manager was very nice and friendly for sure. Eddy. The hotel bar manager was beyond awesome. Very detail oriented and attentive to his guests at the hotel bar. Eddy had the two best hard working bar backs ever. There names were Cornell and Junior. They were both very hardworking and friendly at the bar front. Also let’s not forget about Maxwell the pool manager. This young man was on his game with the pool guests not following the 30 minute time rule. He was very nice and respectful along with being very helpful and friendly. Last but not least here. We can not forget about all the amazing bartenders at the pool bar Playa. Marcella, Roxy, Cristian, Jorge#1 & Jorge #2 and Irving. All these bartenders were beyond awesome. They were detail oriented and remembered what you were drinking throughout the day. The best 59 th birthday party ever for sure. We are already looking forward to coming back for the Big 60!!!!! Hilton with all the names we mentioned above. You need to continue to hire individuals like these people for sure. Sorry, for such a long email. Hopefully, we didn’t forget anyone’s name. Thanks again for a great Birthday celebration. We stayed in room 2877 and the view was amazing. Tony and Tanya

The hotel is under construction. Waking up to jackhammers, bulldozers and alarms is not the experience you want in a beachfront room. The hotel claims it’s on their official website. With third party sites - and googling the property- I still have not found the disclaimer. No rate adjustments offered. Stay somewhere else. This place is currently a dump.
