A total disappointment at Divi Golf Aruba.
A total disappointment at Divi Golf Aruba. We had high expectations, especially after staying at all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana and Cancún. But from the moment we arrived, everything went downhill. The front desk staff looked like they didn’t want to be there—unfriendly, unmotivated, and barely communicative. The website listed several restaurants… surprise: we only had access to three. The food was low quality and lacked variety. You could barely finish your last bite before they were already taking your plate away. And while you were still chewing, they’d bring a receipt to sign—such a “relaxing” experience. Want a drink with your meal? Forget about ordering it at the table. You had to get up, leave the restaurant, go to the nearby bar, order your drink, and sign another receipt. Super convenient, right? Most of the staff, with rare exceptions, were rude, unkind, and far from welcoming. We felt uncomfortable from day one. Honestly, it was a shame. We leave sad, disappointed, and counting the hours to go back home. I won’t be coming back.

Amazing!
Great place! Room was beautiful and staff was great!! The restaurants were so good and I'm going back for sure! It was so great to be away from the crowds at the high rises. I loved the beach! It was perfect. Everything was spot on!!! I highly recommend it!

Have fun on your vacation with a un-healthy dose fo stress
A Vacation should be a time of relaxation free of the stress of the world and all its issues. Not so at Divi Golf. At check in I was informed that one of my reservations (part of a multi-reservation stay) was cancelled. I got no notice. I have my reservation and confirmation. It was in their system but now it's cancelled. And no one knows why. "We'll find out and get it corrected" I was promised. It's now 4 days later no one even acknowledges that they know about the issue. So more stress, more promises, and a call to the booking company. The booking company assures me that all is good, everything is active and confirmed by the resort. They'll look into it. It appears that Divi corporate is the culprit here. but they are at least at an arm's length from any of the humans involved. After all, it's just someone's vacation that were messing with. Divi is in the hospitality business, or so it appears. Maybe they just don't understand that adding incomprehensible stress to its guests is inhospitable. It's such dysfunction that leaves me to withhold my recommendation to an otherwise wonderful resort.

Divi Village Golf & Resort took the Fun and Amenities Away !
I’ve stayed at the Divi Golf twice over the past two years. While the resort was always silent at night with not much to do, it previously offered access to the two beachfront hotels across the street—Tamarijn and Divi—which added more options and variety. However, the all-inclusive package has since changed, and access is now limited to only the Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort. As a result, there's no direct access to a real beach—just the nearby public one—and the atmosphere becomes very quiet after 6:00 PM. You might see advertisements claiming access to 13 restaurants and bars but that is not true that is what they offered before 2025. Now, your options are restricted to what’s available within the Divi Golf property. My advice, find another hotel !

It takes a village to clean the village
We arrived Sunday 5/25 and the room had ant piles and dead roaches. They finally addressed it and allegedly cleaned the room on Tuesday, however my fiancé wiped what you see in the photos after their “cleaning.” On Wednesday after the issue was addressed again, they tried rectifying the issue by giving us a new room. Luckily we checked it before gathering our things up and moving them and guess what roaches and ants. While the room was gifted to us by family who are vacation club owners of theirs, I tried letting them handle it, and this is where the relocation came from. When I went back to the front desk to address the condition of the new room, I spoke with a supervisor whom I shared the photos with. She seemed surprised and asked me to send the photos so that she could share them with the general manager. This is when I requested to speak with the general manager, and I was told that he was in a meeting. I guess he was in that meeting all week because I never received a call. You don’t have poolside nor beach service for drinks which is also strange for a resort. We also had an issue at their poolside restaurant where my fiancé was served dead lettuce and chicken that was not thoroughly cooked. When I brought it to the bartender’s attention, he was extremely rude and went off and started having a conversation about something completely different with coworkers. I had to call him back and tell him how rude and disrespectful he was to ignore the complaint. He then addressed the issue. I believe the name of it was Sea Side or Sea Salt. The pools were nice though. Overall, terrible experience and I would have thought they would have tried to offer a more pristine experience either there or at a more updated resort that they have. They did offer us lunch and drinks at one of their restaurants, but the letter only stated lunch so I had to call the front desk, speak to them and have them investigate and confirm the situation.
