  Very poor service

  Booked a table for 6 for evening meal. On arrival the staff has no booking although we had the email confirmation. They hastily put a table together then left us with no menus, no one came to take our order for 20 minutes until we had to approach them. Two of the meals ordered were Filet of fish, (snapper) on arrival the two of the meals had bones that you could visibly see, when challenged the chef explained they had changed supplier, and apologised. I fully expected the 2 meals to be taken off the bill but to my surprise both meals were charged to the bill. I spoke again with the chef who seemed now to think it was ok to charge for a filet of fish, which she had earlier acknowledged was not supposed to have visible bones, suppose I had ordered it for a child. With that said after visiting Doctors cave yearly for over 30 years, I will never visit again

  Do not book this hotel,they are scammers!

  Do not book with Doctors cave beach Hotel! They are scamming people They are closed for renovation and no information was given about that when we booked or after! The manager which i talked to on phone was veet rude and unprofessional. They are ripping off people by letting them book and then the last day before the stay they book you at a cheaper hotel which is nearby. STAY AWAY from Doctora cave beach hotel as they are scamming people!

  Varning! boka ej hos dem! det är en scam!!

  Jag och min fru bokade här för en natt innan vårt flyg hem. När vi anlände med taxin så möttes vi av ett stängt hotell och när vi ringer på klockan utanför dörren så får vi prata med en vakt som ringer upp sin manager som är allt annat än vänlig som bara säger att hotellet varit stängt i 2 år och vid frågan varför ingen information finns om detta vare sig via Agoda som vi bokade med,via hotellets egen hemsida eller via google maps får jag till svar:Not my problem. Vi bokade hotellet den 28 november dvs 2 månader innan så hotellet har haft gott om tid att meddela oss att det är stängt,istället fick vi ett mail 1 dag innan som förövfrigt var i skräpposten där står det att hotellet är stängt och vi blivit ombokade till ett annat hotell som är billigare. Inget av detta nämndes av managern när jag pratade med henne i telefon,utan jag fick gå in och söka i min email och av en slump hittade jag det i skräpposten. Vi betalade 183 USD för en natt och på andra hotellet vi blev ombokade till Toby's resort kostar det 110 USD,så uppenbarligen tar Doctors cave mellanskillnaden på 73 USD i egna fickor. Just nu jagar vi Agoda för att få pengarna tillbaka!! Så en varning för detta hotell! Håll er borta från att boka det.

  Great from the very start!

  First of all, the hotel is in a great location! Stores, restaurants, and beaches are all a short walk away. The property itself is very pretty with a lovely garden area. The room and bathroom were clean and the cleaning ladies were exceptionally kind and helpful as were the women who serve breakfast. ALL of the staff was amazing, especially Simone and Kenny!!! I was traveling with a friend. We are both young females and the staff ensured that we felt safe and comfortable during our stay. The pool is nice, the drinks are amazing, and it was a lovely stay. There was a tiny bug problem but that is to be expected in a tropical environment. Overall, my friend and I loved our stay and hope to return again soon!

  Quase em frente à entrada da praia de Doctors Cave (ingresso u$6). Os quartos são amplos. As instalações são mais do que velhas. Manutenção não existe faz anos! Quartos velhos, chuveiro muito ruim. Funcionários nem um pouco simpáticos, inclusive achei que uma ia me bater quando reclamei que estava me apressando no café da manhã ( que é continental, vem servido uma quantia determinada e fim!). Tem internet q é ok, piscina tb. Compensa se a tarifa estiver muito boa. Fora o hotel, negociem tudo que for possível, pois exploram o turista de uma forma absurda. Uma simples corrida do hotel ao aeroporto, 5min, começa em 20 dólares, acaba sendo paga por 10, q ainda é muito. Quando chegarem, se forem para outra cidade, procurem contratar van na saída do desembarque (25 u$ ida e volta até negril, apesar de não termos conseguido contato para agendar a volta. Aconselho a empresa de ônibus regular Knutsford, pontual, preço honesto e satisfatório).
