Great service & excellent fayre
We enjoyed a great week at Dreams. We booked a "Preferred Room" with a sea view (which is as pictured) & the pool is heated. The service was first class, nothing was too much trouble & the staff were ultra friendly. I would particularly like to thank Julie-Ann for her hospitality & for looking after us all week. The food in the Buffet was always hot & regularly replenished. The 4 "a la Carte" restaurants were all good but make sure you book them as soon as you arrive. A couple of minor points for consideration. The entertainment in the evenings was average at best. I would have welcomed either a tennis court or Padel court on site & finally a separate area to eat for people with young children would be beneficial. Overall, a good resort that I would class as 4 star plus & I would be happy to recommend.

A good quality hotel.
We upgraded to the Preferred Club rooms. Garden view room. Lovely clean room. Large bathroom, comfy bed. Mini bar and coffee machine. Welcome gift box and a bottle of wine. Preferred Club pool was heated as was the infinity pool. Adults pool freezing cold! Plenty of sun beds (didn’t notice the sun bed game) plenty of towels. Preferred lounge very good. Self pour branded spirits. Bottled beer and a draught. Wine/fizz, soft drinks, tea coffee. Food throughout the day. We ate breakfast there a couple of days. Buffet restaurant plentiful but does get very busy. The Greek and Italian restaurants gave us good service and good food. 10 minutes walk to the local town, shops and bars. Small pebble beach. Corfu town on the bus. €2.50 single fare. Bus stop 5 mins walk. Bus route 7. All in all not too bad a holiday.

Mediocre
This hotel has some great pros, but also drawbacks that unfortunately mean I wouldn’t return. Pros: - very friendly & helpful staff - they are extremely pleasant and do their best to please customers - very clean - room cleaned & made up everyday - good pool/beach area - multiple pools meaning plenty of sun beds for everyone - good outdoor entertainment - inflatable water park in particular - good range of drinks provided on the all inclusive. - small but very clean gym onsite Cons: - wasps & mosquitos everywhere - average food with little choice on the buffet - fed back directly to the hotel and nothing done to address it. - worryingly, the allergy signs didn’t match the food offered, for example the label said ‘vegetable noodles’ but in fact they contained chicken. We noted this on a number of foods on offer in the buffet. - no contingencies for rainy days - limited seating inside the restaurant meaning people had to queue/no seating in the bar area/no inside space/no entertainment to keep guests or children occupied during the day - cold inside when it rained - the surrounding area of the hotel desperately needs improving - when on a walk in the vicinity I saw dead cats, stray dogs & the streets littered with rubbish & abandoned buildings - this is the key reason I would not return because it was very unpleasant I hope the hotel can improve on these areas because from the photos & first impressions this hotel appeared perfect, but unfortunately too many elements let it down for us.

Lovely Hotel, Great Staff
We have just returned from a week’s stay at the Dreams Hotel Corfu. Firstly, the staff are exceptional! They go above and beyond and made us feel very welcome. A special thank you to Julie Ann for taking such good care of us by the Privilege Pool and to Jim who was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The food was excellent ! From the main dining room to the specialty dining restaurants. My only tip would be to book the restaurants the moment you arrive as they can book up very quickly. We had a garden bungalow room which was a great size and had stunning views from the balcony. One negative point was the “international” alcohol brands, unfortunately they were not to our taste and many were not international. So we upgraded to the Privilege Club on day one which offered a much better drinks choice and also had a nice club room which served breakfast and dinner and was a nice relaxing spot for evening drinks. As a couple, we would have preferred the Privilege pool to have been an adults only pool area (as many are in other hotels), however the hotel seems to attract a lot of young families. We visited Corfu the second week in October, and although the temperature was nice (low 20s) it was unfortunately wasp/mosquito season. This is by no means a criticism on the hotel, the staff did their very best to help with the many wasp/mosquito stings. But I would personally avoid visiting again at this time of year as it can be very frustrating trying to eat your meal outdoors with the incoming wasps. All in all, a lovely hotel which I would highly recommend and will definitely return to.

An amazing family friendly hotel
We cannot speak highly enough about this incredible hotel. We travelled as couple in our early 30s with our nearly 6 month old baby. We stayed in a beach front bungalow room and had an incredible time. - Set up for babies - this hotel is incredibly well set up for young families. After booking I contacted the hotel about a cot in the room and was advised they could also provide stroller, baby bath, cot, steriliser, mosquito net, bed rails, changing matt, potty, baby intercom and step stool - needless to say this made travelling very easy! There are high chairs at all restaurants with baby cutlery/crockery and there is a baby puree menu available at all restaurants and all meal times, just ask a waitress. There are plenty of step free paths throughout the grounds that are suitable for prams. There were lots of young children when we went but always plenty of loungers in the shade and it never felt too noisy. We are so grateful for how well set up this hotel is for babies and would thoroughly recommend it for young families. - Staff - friendly and helpful throughout. Special mention to Giorgos at the beachfront pool, and Amalia at breakfast. Thank you also to Konstantinos who organised a bottle of wine in our room on arrival as our trip was for a celebration. - Food - the buffet is amazing, lots of options and always fresh food. Breakfast was incredible - fresh fruit, made to order omelettes, cakes, eggs of all kinds, meats, yoghurts, cold cuts ...... Lunch and dinner fairly similar approach but delicious every day and lots of choice with variety. We really enjoyed lunch at the restaurant by the beachfront pool - no booking required and lovely seafood. We did try the Greek restaurant for dinner but preferred the variety on offer at the buffet so didn't eat at any of the other a la crates. - Drinks - amazing selection everywhere. Lots of branded spirits. Lovely wines. Really impressive for an all inclusive. - Hotel/rooms - the whole hotel is beautifully decorated, modern and clean with lots of seating areas. The gardens are beautiful and we never felt like it was crowded as there is so much space. There is wifi everywhere which was always quick. We had a beachfront bungalow and it was the most incredible room. Beautifully decorated, lots of space, very comfortable beds. Air con was fantastic. We had preferred club access with the room which meant daily mini bar top ups which was lovely. We did go to the reserved area in the main building which was a nice added extra but not something we would pay specifically for if we went again. We loved our terrace outside our room overlooking the beach. We were a little nervous about mosquitos/wasps based on previous reviews but did not find them worse than other European trips we have been on at a similar time of year. - Pools/beach - the variety of pools was amazing at this hotel. We spent most our time at the beachside infinity pool but all looked lovely. The pool was always clean and although previous reviews mentioned the pool wasn't heated, we found it warm every day bar one. We never had trouble finding a sun lounger - even in the middle of the day. There are clean beach towels available at all times to help yourself too - something we haven't experienced before and was a lovely addition. The beach is man made but very nice. Not the clearest water but a very lovely beach nonetheless and very warm. We had great fun on the inflatable obstacle course. There are waiters who come to you to take drink orders and bring drinks over which was really lovely. We had a fantastic holiday and have recommended to all our friends. We hope to return one day!
