Don't waste your money!
We went on a family vacation. The place had been highly recommended by some friends. There were some pros to the trip, but unfortunately the cons outweighed the positive. Pros: Most of the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The hotel was clean and the showers were large. Cons: The amenities were not good. The food was mediocre at best. There were not many selections during the week to choose from for breakfast or lunch. The bees and ants were everywhere. We had to sit inside to eat breakfast each morning so that we did not have to continue to swat them away. One of the restaurant was full of mosquitos. It was so bad we had to ask for mosquito spray. The first day and a half we did not have hot water for a shower. We had to ask twice before the issue was corrected. The bed in our room was also broken. Maintenance came to look at it, but it took us complaining again to get it fixed. The resort that used to be between Dreams and Secrets is under construction so there was a lot of construction noise from around 8am until late afternoon. The activities were very limited. They did have snorkels you could borrow, but only for an hour a day. Even though no one else was using them. There were some other activities but nothing that anyone was participating in. They have a third party vendor on site that is trying to sell you a "vacation plan." They are a little pushy and even rude at times. My husband was waiting in line for a hamburger at the grill along with several others. One of the "Amstar" people went to the front of the line and grabbed one of the burgers all of the people in line had been waiting for. It was RUDE! Unfortunately, I do not recommend this place if you are wanting great food and activities. It all you are doing is sleeping in the room, then you would be fine.

No recomendable
The hotel is not finished it looks dirty, the food is not great, it took me 1 hour to check in, they removed our towels and didn’t bring new, no tissues, the fridge was half empty, they left an open Bacardi bottle, the beach front was clean and beautiful

Stay away. Go somewhere else.
I suggest you stay away from this resort. The customer service is lacking and so are the amenities. The food is mediocre at best. You are better off staying somewhere else.
