DO NOT GO!!!!
Our first night was at Secrets awful, room was moldy and out dated, we had no towels and when the did arrived they were old towels shredded on the side. Went to the 90 minute speech, they asked me what do I think about the place? I said want the truth?it sucks no drawers ceiling leaking had no towels, they moved us to dreams which was beautiful swim out pool ocean view.unfortunately went downhill from there. Did not replenish snacks coffee glasses towels had to call should not have to call to remind them of their job. Food was gross cold nothing was even lukewarm.went to the spa terrible felt rushed through hydro water session, did not get to dry off or got to go in the relaxation room before treatment. Went to my message wet only one cove and table was cold, then the air conditioner came on I was freezing was get cramps from the cold air, how is that relaxing.waste of money. DO NOT GO TO DREAMS OR SECRETS IN COZUMEL, SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE. WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS ONE AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS AREA

Dreams is a Nightmare
Dreams was a nightmare! Dreams and Secrets are companion resorts. My adult son and I took a dive trip together and stayed in Dreams but spent most of our time at Secrets. It appears that recently the resort has undergone management changes because the resort's maintenance is slipping. There is peeling paint throughout. Our room floors had spots that could easily be steamed and removed, but they were dirty. Pool towels were not available. And worst yet, the front desk staff and many others actually went out of their way to not communicate or to give you a hard time. If you want to dive and get picked up from their dock (which is public by Mexican law), be prepared to get harassed and pay an exorbetent fee. The dock staff are agressive sending you to the front desk daily to pay a fee and get harassed on the dock and they will follow you trying to intimdate you. If the front desk promises you they have you staying in your current room for an extension--don't believe it. Be prepared to pack up, lug your own luggage to the front desk, then the walk of shame to the back of the resort for a "new" room that has no air. Oh yeah, even though they tell you that you can come to the front desk at 12:30pm to get your "new" room assignment, the don't tell you that they will still cut you key off so you have to go soaking wet in a wetsuit, beg for key reactivation, then lug your suitcase to the new room. The waitstaff want to help, but seriously doubt they are given the ability to be their best. They are understaffed through out. The bar staff are not provided the basics for bar service (but they do the best they can and were the shining star for our trip and were always friendly and nice). The buffets are lacking and DON'T go late in the meal cycle as the food is left out for extended periods of time. The restaurants are much better and the food is pretty good. BOTTOM LINE: this resort could be really outstanding, and it appears it was at one point. A little better staffing, training and some TLC would make this a fantastic resort. Unfortunately, as it stands in early 2026, the Dreams is really a Nightmare! It certainly does not currently live up to Cozumel and Mexican Riviara standards.

Great Scuba Vacation at Dreams Cozumel
I absolutely loved my week long scuba vacation with the Scubaboard club at Dreams Cozumel. The lodging, food, pools, dive shop were all excellent. I particularly loved divemasters Maria and NP, who were attentive and had such positive energy! Also boat crew were very efficient in helping us on and off boat. We did the excursion to dive the cenotes, and were impressed with the professionalism of not only the dive team, but customer service at the ferries and taxis in town.

Average at best - there are better resorts within a few miles
Small pool for the size of this property. Yes, I know you have use of Secrets pool but we can’t walk that far on a consistent basis. plus the pool was freezing for January. The food was average, some nights were better than others - the grilled pork chop was excellent. One of the hostesses was a bit of a *itch with a bad attitude. At times the front desk was clueless or lazy or possibly both. Our room was exceptionally large and clean and the cleaning staff were excellent. The bar staff was top notch. This property is South of San Miguel and a decent taxi ride to get here. The property immediately adjacent is undergoing major renovation and you can expect some construction noise. We were part of a large dive group and had excellent rates for the week.

Excellent first visit to Cozumel!
My wife and I had an amazing time at Dreams in Cozumel! We met many new friends! The Marlin bar/pool was hopping and remember to bring your water shoes and goggles/mask to see amazing coral and small fish right off shore.
