we booked 3 months ago this hotel and they sended email only 2 days ago our departure saying hotel is overbooked this is really crazy they suggesting another hotel which is I did not liked im so disspointing what kind hotel is this and nobody takes respansibility

Great trip with the family. Beautiful resort with fantastic staff!
The staff was very attentive and the food / service was great. Lots of fun activities for the whole family. The kids (9 & 11) loved the explorer's club. Lots of great evening shows. Spa was great. We did a couply of nearby excursions and the Amstar team at the desk was very good at assisting with that. I had several issues, like a lost door key and a water bottle, and I've seldolm seen staff move so fast to get them resolved. Highly recommend!

Extremely Unsafe and Deeply Disappointing Stay at Dreams Dominicus La Romana We booked the Preferred Package at Dreams Dominicus La Romana expecting better service and exclusivity. Instead, we endured an unprofessional, disorganized, and dangerous experience that left our entire family shaken. Highlights of our disappointment: Airport Scam Setup: AMSTAR handed us off to an unauthorized person who tried to scam us for tips. We later learned this was a known issue. Unprepared Staff: Upon arrival, our concierge disappeared. We had to chase down info about our room and learned that WhatsApp is the only way to communicate—info never provided to us at check-in. Misleading ‘Preferred’ Status: Our room was far from all amenities. Nothing about our experience felt “preferred.” Every supposed perk was either shared or unenforced. No one checked status at the beach or bars. Food and Service: Mediocre food, with better options via room service. Drinks were poorly made and served with flimsy paper straws. Staff was visibly irritated when asked to speak English or accommodate requests. Safety Concern: The most alarming part of our stay was the sexual harassment of our daughter by a male entertainer. He blocked her path one evening, made inappropriate remarks, and later messaged her on Instagram, calling her by name. We suspect our name and room number (used to pick up pool towels) was shared by staff. We reported the incident. Management denied the man worked there—only for us to see him 20 minutes later setting up a kids’ event. We sent a photo, they responded once, and then went silent. We left the next day. This resort is not safe for families. We trusted their promises, and they failed in every single way that matters.

An unforgettable Vacation!
Omg I had THE BEST time at this resort last week! Everyone was soooooo friendly and accommodating that i instantly felt welcomed. My favorite part was the amount of daily activities going on that made each day exciting and eventful! There was ALWAYS something fun to do from water/ocean aerobics to finger painting, to Zumba and yoga. The staff were multi-faceted employees who you could tell have so much fun doing their jobs. There were a few that stood out in making my trip memorable and their names are: - Domingo (Blaky) - Champion - Rafi - Jerry - Nicki So look out for them! The live entertainment throughout the day and night made me feel like I was in the best one-stop shop for a vacation. You can be thoroughly entertained without ever leaving the resort. But me and my girls did pay for the sunset boat ride ($45) where we got to snorkel in the ocean and cruise the river where the movie “Anaconda” was filmed and that was coool! The food was so delicious as well! I normally don’t like dining halls but their breakfast and lunch food had a lot of variety and was very fresh. On top of the dinner restaurant options from French, Seafood, Italian and Habachi so I enjoyed being able to eat something different every night. (Although I did go to the Habachi and French restaurant twice cause I loved them so much) Overall, I would 100% come back to this resort.
