  A quiet and relaxing stay

  Lovely hotel. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, and our room was perfect for us. The hotel was clean, quiet, and staff were very kind if we needed anything. We only did the bed and breakfast all inclusive option, but could pay extra for the dinner buffet as well - however we found it to be very expensive.

  Good but not exceptional. Style over substance.

  We started with a lovely welcome in reception with a glass of prosecco and a quick and efficient check in. Our room on the 4th floor was spacious at first glance but after unpacking we quickly realised that it was more a case of style over substance. The placement of power sockets was impractical, the mirror was in the darkest part of the room (even with lights on) and the safe inside the wardrobe was on the floor - not helpful for older guests. The bed was very close to the wardrobe and couldn't be moved because it would then be in front of the power sockets. There was also a lot of wasted space by the patio doors which could have been better used. The bathroom, however was huge, well laid out and stocked with everything you need. The outside area by the pool was stunning with lovely architecture. However the sunbeds were jammed in like sardines - to the point where if you put up your sun shade/umbrella you would be shading your neighbour from the sun too. The World cafe was large and we didn't have any problems getting a seat whatever time we went down for breakfast. The breakfast was pretty average and never very hot but there was plenty of choice even for fussy eaters. All in all I would say this is a 4 star hotel, very pretty and unique with excellent service but sadly the pool area let it down for us.

  Very disappointed - misleading marketing.

  We paid for the all-inclusive package in a Club suite, but discovered Dreams Jardin Tropical Resort is not all-inclusive at all. Their marketing is very misleading. Even at the very top level of the experience there are so many things excluded, for example a glass of champagne is extra, premium spirits are extra, even certain ice creams are extra. The wine in the restaurant is by the glass only, with a very limited choice of two, or perhaps three, wines; a bottle of wine is extra. Having paid a premium price for a premium all-inclusive package we were very disappointed. All-inclusive should mean just that - no exceptions.

  Wish you could give half stars - not quite a 5 but feel mean giving it 4!

  I'll start with the negatives - the reason for deducting a star.  We paid for the Preferred Club which, apparently, provides suites in "privileged locations".  Our terrace area was lovely - really large with two sun loungers.  However, it looked onto a path which then looked onto a fence with something resembling a black bin liner blocking the view.  This is to hide the building work going on expanding the Las Rocas Beach Club.  I am sure this will be fabulous when it's done, but I didn't appreciate the loud building work that started at 7:45am each day, or the fact it blocked the view of the sea.  If you fancy staying here I highly recommend it, but maybe treat yourself and upgrade to a sea view to avoid this. The other reason for the deduction of a star is on our first day there simply wasn't any spare sun loungers.  As our kids are older we don't mind where we sit but there was literally nothing available.  It was extremely busy the first 3 days of our holiday but quietened off towards the end of the week.  The hotel could reduce this problem by asking guests to keep their pool towels.  They can be left on sunbeds, to be tidied up at the end of the day, and fresh ones obtained the following day.  This results in people just leaving towels on beds with no intention of returning.  So if you book here put your towel in the bins provided rather than hog loungers for no reason!   The many positives..... PREFERRED CLUB Whilst I was unimpressed with the Preferred Club's privileged location we did love the Preferred Club Lounge.  We particularly enjoyed the waiter service during breakfast, eliminating the need to queue for ages at omelette/ pancake stations.  My husband said the omelettes were delicious and the children loved their crepes and pancakes (both types available).  This really did feel luxurious and is such a good idea.  The drinks and snacks available here from 1:30pm-7pm are also great and we enjoyed this daily.  We're not big drinkers but, if you are, you really would get your money's worth from this lounge.  Beer and spirits are only available from around 4:30pm though.  From 1:30pm there is wine and sparking wine.   LOCATION This is a great location for us as our favourite beach is Troya Beach and you can walk there in less than 10 minutes.  Playa Fanabe is a 20/25 minute walk but we enjoy this on an evening when going out to eat.  Las Americas is the opposite way and a slightly longer walk so we'd walk there and grab a taxi back (about 10 euros).  You can also walk to Siam Park in about 15 minutes - definitely worth a visit. ROOMS The rooms were a lovely size, huge comfy beds and loads of storage space.  Hardly any hangers but I always take my own - I'm sure they'd be happy to provide more if you asked.  Nice bathrooms with two sinks, though shower pressure wasn't great. RESTAURANT We only had breakfast in the Preferred Club lounge and thoroughly enjoyed that.  The staff in there are all pleasant and attentive.  We ate at the restaurant by the pool one lunch time but I'm afraid it was dreadful so we went out every other lunch.  I ordered a greek salad but it was literally a bowl full of cucumber with very few pieces of feta and a few onions.  The grilled chicken was actually half a chicken (unusual to be called grilled on the menu) and was cold with very little meat. HOTEL The reception area is lovely and our check-in was handled promptly by a nice man (forgot his name).  I also dealt with a lovely lady called Sara - very helpful and friendly.  All of the areas are beautifully presented and well looked after. POOL The pool is lovely and warm - even I got in!  We were really lucky with the weather whilst we were there but I think this pool would be pleasant even on a cooler day.  The sun loungers are a bit too close together for me and, as I mentioned earlier, there wasn't always enough.  Though I'm sure this would only be an issue in school holidays. We visit Tenerife a couple of times a year and have stayed at GF Victoria, all three Iberostars, Gran Tacande and Spring Hotel Bitacora.  We would definitely stay here again, this hotel and Iberostar Anthelia are my favourite out of them all and I'm sure we'll return in the future.

  Actual paradise.

  This hotel for myself and my wife was pure paradise when we stayed there this last week. The pool views from the balconys were to die for, especially when the the sun was starting to set. The bed was extremley comfortable and large. The room was clean and tidy and quite modern. The amount of breakfast options was unbelievable with something for everyone that may go there. The staff were always happy and said hello every time they walked passed with a smile smile on their faces and always extremley helpfull. We stayed there for 4 nights but could have stayed for 40 if we could 😆. This hotel should be listed as a 5 star hotel as it genuinely feels that way. Oh and the spa is relaxing, lovely, clean and very well priced. Looking to book again in the first week of May 2026 for 6 of us this time and we honestly cant wait to get back.
