the staff is excellent , starting with the managers at the reception , all the hotel employees are friendly .
the impression is wonderful , I liked everything . The breakfast is varied . The products are fresh and suit every taste .

Feels 5 star. Excellent all round hotel.
Excellent hotel. Feels 5 star. Staff excellent, hotel spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet is huge with masses of choice. Unprompted the hotel left a bottle of Cava and a card in our room for my wife’s birthday. Lots of classily done little extras such as live music by the pool and welcome drinks on check in. Would stay again.

Generally a good resort.with a few issues.
We stayed for 7 nights in room 789 which is preferred club junior suite with sea view and on the 7th floor. The view was fantastic however the balcony was oh so small with just a little circular table and two chairs. Generally the room was ok but a little dated. The large bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom needed some attention as there was a lot of staining on the tiled floor and paint work on walls. We spent a great deal of our time relaxing on the Bali beds but if you were not there by 6.45am it was almost impossible to get one in the sun. There is no drinks service in this area which was a bit disappointing. Not the end of the world but when paying a lot of money this service is really expected. We were all inclusive and ate in all of the restaurants. Generally the food was good, especially breakfast. However, twice we had evening meals in the grill and on each occasion the steaks were extremely tough and virtually inedible and they were sent back. We became aware that another guest had a similar problem with his steak and just walked out of the restaurant.No real complaints about the other restaurants except a couple of times the food was barely warm. All of the staff we encountered were hard working, polite and assisted where they could. Generally we had a good holiday but I don’t think we would return as we have been spoiled by another 5 star resort a short distance away which although more expensive is in another league. My only other comment is that throughout the resort there are oh so many steps which could be a problem for anyone with mobility issues.

Initial impression was excellent but turned out very disappointing
I booked and paid directly through hotel online a double ocean view. When I got there I was told I was given an upgrade which I thought sounded great. When I got to room, it was a junior suite, quite large but only with a partial side view. I straight away told reception this was not an upgrade and I wanted the room that I had paid for. I was told that the hotel had overbooked those rooms and that they would have one the next day. This meant we did not unpack or settle in the room, knowing we were moving next day. We were given the room I had booked at 3.30 following day. I expressed my disappointment at having to move and having wasted twenty four hours of only a 3 day holiday with a room I didn’t want. I asked for some kind of good will gesture and was told no, that they owed me nothing as I had been offered an ‘upgrade’. I pointed out that if I’d wanted a junior suite I’d have booked that when booking my holiday and that also that junior suite was actually cheaper than the room i I’d paid for. I asked to speak with a manager and was told no, they don’t do that, the lady dealing with me could only pass on my request to them. Eventually she handed me a printed form that I could submit my complaint to the tourist board. I was shocked at the way the hotel had complete disregard for me as a customer and how that can let you book double ocean view rooms when they are fully aware that they are already booked out. I am sure that the hotel will respond with some excuse to look good but the facts remain the same. I was tricked in to believing they were doing something nice for me but actually they were covering up their own mistake with complete disregard for the inconvenience they gave me. A simple gesture to acknowledge this other than verbally saying sorry would have been appreciated.
