on the property was amazing. You usually don’t expect that, but we only ate outside the hotel once and instantly regretted it! The food was incredible, especially at La Trattoria, which became our favorite spot. The pool area was beautiful, with plenty of sunbeds and the perfect balance of sun and shade. The location couldn’t have been better. Everything about this place just felt right — it truly felt like home. We’ll definitely be coming “home” again. What an unforgettable experience!

Fourth visit to the hotel which I suppose speaks as a recommendation in itself. Booked as a celebration of a 40th wedding anniversary which was one week in a junior suite with the addition of preferred club. Room itself was on the ninth floor facing to the rear of the hotel so not a premium sea view but nevertheless being on the top floor it gave a nice outlook towards the mountains. As a junior suite it was a decent enough size and reasonably well appointed if a little tired looking in places so maybe due a refurbishment perhaps. Also the balcony was somewhat disappointing, being long enough on width but very narrow in depth which was a little restrictive. Preferred club was worth the extra cost for access to the more private sun areas and the club lounge offering inclusive drinks and snacks at particular times of the day. Breakfasts are amazing and cater for all tastes and requirements with extensive choice available. Only four stars because of the room failings as we saw them but all things considered another successful stay at the Jardin Tropical.

Fantastic!
Absolutely perfect in every way! We loved our stay at this hotel and will definitely be booking again. Wide variety of food and drink options, nice pool area and evening entertainment was fantastic. Location is also 10/10, a short 5 minute taxi or a 20 minute walk to most popular areas. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Could not recommend this place enough!

It is certainly not a dream holiday!! Supposed to have 7 restaurants when we were there at least two were closed each night and most not open at all during the day. You can also hardly call them restaurants more like pop up snack places! The Italian restaurant was the worst we have ever been to. Pizza’s were dry and dreadful with hardly any topping. Bruschetta was hardly even toasted and was spread with plain tomato purée . The Spanish restaurant had what they called a tasting menu but not as you would know it! The only restaurant worth eating in was Babbo which was excellent for steaks and had good service. They have one pool and one kiddies pool so the big pool was full of children and crammed each day. The sunbeds are are in a line of rows and jammed up right next to each other with an inch in between. The area round the pool is far too small for the number of sunbeds. This is the worst hotel we have ever been to so I would not recommend it at all. The staff are really not interested. We had a preferred junior suite with sea view and also payed to access the preferred lounge and were there for eight nights from 14th Oct-23rd 0ct. Definitely avoid!
