Jul 29, 2025Gorgeous hotel, wonderful staff and excellent food!
We went for our anniversary and we chose Dreams because we had such a wonderful time at Secrets Cabo last year. We stayed at the resort the entire time. There was always something going on because the entertainment crew keeps the party going. John was especially friendly and gave me a Cabo shot glass for my tequila shot after winning bingo. The adult pool is low key and quiet but the family pool always has something going on - line dancing, cooking classes, games, aqua aerobics… lots to do. The food is wonderful too! The breakfast and lunch buffet had a ton to choose from and the wait staff was there to get drinks. The dinner restaurants were exceptional! We didn’t have a meal we didn’t like. We ante escargot, steak tartar, salmon, octopus and many steaks and they were a cooked perfectly. One evening I didn’t like my dish and Angel bent over backwards to make it right. Denise at the French restaurant was the best server. We also spent two days at the spa and I had one of the best massages ever! Of course everything can’t be perfect and when it wasn’t the staff was polite and quick to help or fix it. Our toilet got plugged but it was fixed quickly. I scraped my toe on the adult pool pebble tech (bring water shoes) and the medic came to clean my toe and patch me up. The beds were comfortable and my husband and I slept like a log. It was a rejuvenating and relaxing time.

Jul 28, 2025Not the Luxury Experience It Appears to Be
The photos of Dreams Los Cabos suggest a luxury resort experience, but our stay was far from it. My family regularly travels to high-end resorts, and this one fell well below expectations—especially for a Hyatt-affiliated property. The food was cheap and incredibly slow, the drinks were warm and poorly made, and service consistently struggled to keep up. We often could not get pool chairs or even basic towels. You will likely end up leaving the resort to find better meals and drinks. Sadly, this is not a place I would return to or recommend. It simply is not worth your time.

12th Visit
Well, another great vacation at Dreams Los Cabos... It was humid and hot, but we were expecting that with doing our research for the area. We had a great room with the new swim out pools attached to the actual rooms. This was my wife and my 12th time at this resort in the past 8 years of going to Dreams Los Cabos. I want to thank the entire staff for making our stay better than the last. The resort has been going through some changes and a few facelifts, now Dreams is looking great. The restaurants are getting renovated as well as the they are adding more swim outs as they are needed. I also heard that they will start to renovate the rooms that are great already. Needless to say, the property is really looking great and well maintained. Pools are spacious and the water temperatures are perfect. As a repeat UVC Member, my wife and I are very happy with all the changes and renovations they are doing to the resort. I really want to take the time to thank a few people that were very helpful and attentive to our needs. Mercedes is a wonderful gentleman that was serving us at our swim out , bringing us drinks and food from 10a till about 5p when he had to start packing up and cleaning his bar at the Preferred beach area. Mercedes was constantly checking on us and we always had a drink, never had to wait too long. He was also partnered with Alejandra which was great as well, she mainly stayed at the beach but was helpful. I also want to mention a few other people that were helpful and made our vacation great. Rosario, Brenda and Adriana at Coco Cafe are always great to see every morning and are super pleasant to talk to. Chef's Abraham, Santos, Ivan and Alex are amazing and I really appreciate them. Omar and Nico at Portofino went above and beyond with the service. Isabel, Miriam and Elida are always very friendly and helpful. A very special thank you to Simplicia was the housekeeper that cleaned our room and was very good and efficient. Always good to see Victoria the gardener the works around our suite, I see her every morning and she is a nice person. All of the Room Service staff are great and respectful. You can find ELSA at the main pool, she is my absolute favorite person at Dreams. Last but not least, I want to thank: Yamileth, Carlos, Ozi, Alejandra from the freferred lounge Mauricio, Helios, Luis, Margarita, Miguel, Polo, Isreal from UVC Dulce and Silvia from the Preferred Lounge Bar Isaac, Ruben, Meliton and F.M. thank you so much...... All in all, we just cannot wait to go back and visit our home away from home at Dreams Los Cabos. we miss it already.

Great Family Resort
Family of four had a wonderful time! Manuel with Entertainment is so awesome - made sure all his guests had a fun time - he'd be a reason to go back :-) Great drinks and pools were wonderful. Family suite with spacious with a great view very clean and the AC was great Wi-Fi throughout the resort was strong never a problem. All the food in the restaurants were wonderful service was a little slow but overall it was worth the wait and we were not disappointed at all. Kids club was safe clean and fun the ladies are very caring and our kids loved going every day! We would absolutely go back for another family vacation. Only downside we had is concierge didn't do any real formal check-in or reminders of all the amenities that we paid for with our package but other than that we still had a good time.
