Customer service was fabulous!! 💙The BEACH was fabulous!! 💙The food was terrible :( There weren't a lot of snacks available late at night that were comforting...small and horrible selection of what to eat after hours :( Drinks were very limited to certain hours and NO cocktails available for delivery or to have in room :( No ice machines on room floors :( Was always begging for ice to be delivered and then it would melt....smh

The Dreams sands resort is situated on one of the most beautiful, calm beaches I’ve been to in the Cancun area. The Preferred club benefits were well worth the additional cost as we enjoyed spending time at their beach, pool, and lounge. Our room, although esthetically well appointed, showed signs of age and the bathroom was cramped. We did not use any of the non-preferred pools, but noticed that some were missing tiles. The preferred pool, as previously mentioned was a cool break from the heat and humidity. Ideally, would’ve appreciated a swim up bar but service was so impressive that we never felt like we missed this benefit. I emailed the resort prior to arrival to confirm our reservation and mentioned that we’d be coming to celebrate our anniversary. Faustino replied. Upon arrival, our room was decorated with a celebratory banner, fruit, and a bottle of champagne - classy and personalized touch. Loyda? Kept our room well cleaned and refreshed whenever we took our DND sign off the door. Food was consistently great for a AI. Lots of variety from the buffet to the specialty restaurants. Service in all dining areas was so great that my husband and I commented on it almost daily. From the host, to the server, to teammates cleaning the facility, I felt valued and appreciated at each and every meal and bar visit. Honestly better service and hospitality than many high end restaurants. Every employee is constantly aware of guests in their surroundings and goes out of the way to acknowledge, help, and go above and beyond. Gerson in the preferred beach area was the standout employee of our trip. He provided phenomenal service each day, bringing our usual drinks before being asked, and even recommending some others. He is a true asset to the Dreams brand. Thank you Dreams team for an enjoyable family vacation. We came for the beach but will undoubtedly return because of the phenomenal service.

Beautiful resort and beach!
Highly recommend this resort! The food was very good, we loved the variety of the restaurants and menus. The Olio lunch restaurant had THE BEST food! The employees were super friendly, the grounds were kept clean. The beach was absolutely stunning and I would 10/10 go back to this resort!

A Great Place to Experience
Dreams Sands Resort and Spa, was such a great place for my wife and I to experience as we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. We look forward to returning with our three children in the near future as they enjoy graduation from high school.

A great week away at Dreams Sands!
We recently stayed at Dreams Sands as a family of 4, with two young kids (7 and 4). It was our first family all-inclusive, and first time in Mexico! The highlights of our trip were: - the STAFF! Everyone was so so kind and helpful. The entertainment staff was amazing (shoutout Amir! Careful of your beautiful face next time we play volleyball together!) The evening shows were impressive! Thank you Allen for helping us navigate our off-resort activity. Jorge, the girls miss your wonderful service on the outdoor patio at the buffet! “Heyyyy!” - the beach was beautiful. Shallow and clear water. Almost no waves, and very little seaweed. The girls LOVED finding so many shells and hermit crabs. They had a water trampoline and daily volleyball games in the ocean. We enjoyed the sunsets over the water at night. - the pools were nice. Temperature was right. They were clean. The main pool did have several tiles that were missing and falling off, but our girls turned that into a positive by playing games of finding the tiles. Finding pool/beach chairs were not a problem if you went early to reserve them. - food was overall great! We loved the variety the buffet offered for breakfast and lunch. Restaurants were OK - we really enjoyed the Mexican restaurant. Tried Italian and Japanese and they were mediocre. - the kids club was amazing!! All the staff there were great with the kids (Karla, Elsy, Itzel, Arlet, Maj). Our daughters were excited to keep going back and it gave us time to enjoy the swim up bar. - the resort is fairly small and compact, so it was easy and quick to get around. We could be on the beach and run up to the room and back in less than 10 mins. Everything is so close. Things we didn’t love: - it was quite pricey in our opinion to rent the cabana beds. $150 USD (mind you that included a bottle) but we were never given an option of without one. - it was our ten year anniversary, and we were suppose to receive a bottle of champagne to our room which never came. We did rent a cabana but felt that on a special occasion, maybe something like that would be complimentary.
