I wont recommend this hotel, we received a treatment below our expectation. Caleb was great with our drinks at the pool. A/C was not cold at the buffet. Staff attitude needs to improve.

Jul 31, 2025I wouldn't recommend this resort
I am a Travel Agent who was traveling with my husband for our 5 year wedding anniversary and my birthday. Although we were staying at a family friendly resort we did not have any children with us for this vacation. We had a Preferred Club level room so a butler was included with our stay. Our butler never checked on us, all they did was send the itinerary each day. Our jacuzzi on the terrace didn't have hot water and the bathtub in our room also didn't have any hot water. We had a romantic dinner and was too full to eat our steak and lobster dinner (which cost $250 btw) so we had our server wrap it up for us to eat the next day. We left the room and came back to our perfectly wrapped meal on the floor in the hallway outside of our room. When we asked to be compensated or for a discount we were told no. The irony was that they said their reason was because of food standards yet a piece of uncovered cake and open bottle of champagne sat in our room for our entire stay. The pool that has the swim up bar was filthy and please don't dare walk 5 steps over to the Secrets side of the beach because security will come and tell you to move. The staff wasn't very friendly overall but I honestly feel that it was because we weren't the preferred demographic for that property. I do recommend Puerto Vallarta if you want to experience Mexico but I do not recommend Dreams Puerto Vallarta.

We had our daughters wedding here with a relatively large group. Febe our event planner was the shinning star of the event. She anticipated our every need, communicated well with our daughter through the planning process and was everything we needed for holding a large event like this thousands of miles away from home. The hotel and staff was great as well, but Febe made the difference for us.

I went to visit for fist time Puerto Vallarta to celebrate my B-day at Dreams, the experience on the reservation for the table on the beach wasn’t the best, they forgot the reason I made the reservation for (my birthday) when they found out it was already late and they wanted to compensate with another dinner the next day but it wasn’t the same. but I had a very good Manager Mauricio who was there 100% If I go back I definitely ask for him to be my manager again, so attentive, quick response and very friendy, he was always caring of what we needed. Also, I wanted to give some credit to Manuel the server in the pool, very nice guy, always asking if we were ok on drinks at the pool. We had a nice clean room with beautiful views, I enjoyed my weekend at Dreams. Thank you everyone, most of them are nice and friendly.

Speed Limit 55!!
The staff at Dreams was exceptional from the time we arrived to the time we departed. Our butler Mauricio was simply amazing and attentive our entire stay. Jaime was great as well as our concierge! Also Veronica on the entertainment staff was a joy!! The food was amazing as well! Thank you staff and Mauricio for making our trip a memory to always love and cherish!!
