This is an amazing hotel. The service has been impressive. I’m a vegan and appreciate the vegan options at the restaurants. The World Market needs vegan options for breakfast though. However I did enjoy the oat crème brûlée at Blue Water Grill, as well as the service provided by Geyler. One morning I was running to a business meeting and asked for my breakfast quickly. He was on top of it, as well as always being welcoming and pleasant. I look forward to returning to the resort soon.

Fantastic Family Vacation
Upon arrival, you are handed a cool, scented towel to wipe away the chaos of airports, transfer vehicles and the travel day. It is a simple gesture, but so appreciated as they welcome you onto the gorgeous property. A couple of quick questions from the staff and we are ushered to check-in. We chose to upgrade to the preferred rooms, so our check-in concierge was on the 9th floor. My travel-weary family recharged with drinks and food in the adjoining lounge area while Lizle took care of everything... and when I say everything, I mean everything throughout our stay. Key cards lost? She didn't even need to ask which room we were in before handing us our new cards. Reservations for the many onsite restaurants? All made with ease, and then changed again the next day if we booked excursions. Lizle is amazing! The rooms are exactly as described, kept fully stocked daily and always cleaned (thanks Raquel!) with nightly turndown service. We didn't spend too much time in the room, as there is so much to do at the hotel (and surrounding area). The view from the patio is superb, and the shower is great after a long day in the sun. The pool was perfect for our group as we had four children who basically lived in the water, while the adults enjoyed ourselves with poolside service from Iris... never without a drink, a smile or a "how are you today, familia?". The boys in our group, and I mean the 40-year old Dads, took full advantage of the wave pool, spending hours a day there with Zeuz and Zamir who are the two most popular people on staff. As part of the entertainment crew, they ran surfing, aerobics, beach volleyball and even late-night karaoke. We wouldn't have had half the fun at the hotel without them... they are the simply the best! Onsite restaurants were all good, offering different tastes when we needed a change from the buffet (World Cafe). Our best experience was at the Japanese-themed restaurant Himitsu, with it combination of interesting foods (we ordered every appetizer) and tremendous service. Our group of nine (with four kids) isn't always easy to serve, but Yoshua got compliments from everyone, including the kids who couldn't shake her with their crazy drink orders. Great server, great place to eat. Our kids didn't use the Explorer's Club until later in our stay, but once they had they gone once, they kept asking to go back. This was in part due to the schedule of fun they had going daily, but also they loved 'hanging out' with Monse... who was great at arts and crafts, and video games. Kids were kept happy and busy, giving the adults time for a meal in the adult-only rooftop areas. In the end, we'd happily return to Dreams Vista Cancun... the location is stunning, but it is the staff that put this location over the top. Thanks for making our vacation a great one!

Would recommend, a great holiday location
Spent 10 days at this resort in Nov 2025. Met expectations in all regards. Stayed in the preferred level, and appreciated the rooftop pool, blue water for breakfast and vista prime for dinner. Most of the staff we encountered were great with Special shout outs to Mario (blue water grill) , Jorge (rooftop pool), Alexi (main pool) and especially Geyler (Blue water grill) who went above and beyond to make our holiday special. Restaurants were easy to book on the app, and food quality was above average. Dress code for men was not enforced -- many men wore shorts inside (all) the a la carte restaurants.

Pretty good overall, very clean (hotel, rooms restaurant pool etc...) the beach is small but clean, if a great beach is your priority a would not recommend. The staff is very respecfull and the service is very good. downside the Himitsu Restaurant was close on a saturday, there is a 50$ usd if you want to sit a the hibachi table and also the vista prime (rooftop) is for prefered guest only so there's not much left. ***Golf*** High season rates 180$ usd prime time and 130$ usd twilights. 5 hours rounds (brutal) pace of play awful. No tee time before noon on the week-ends. no drinks or food included. no GPS on the cart. you gotta go the beach (14 holes) they come pick you up there 30 minutes prior to your tee time so not much time to warm up. Course is in great shape tho nice condition nice layout 7200+ from the back tee pretty wide open of the tee. hole 13 and 14 are very nice near the resort and close to the ocean. ***WE HAD AN ISSUE WITH OUR TEE TIME RESERVETION***. We booked a tee time friday and saturday a month prior via the concierge of the hotel. When we arrived we double check if everything was still good just to find out that there was a tournament scheduled on friday and neither the golf or the hotel told us. so we we're lucky with the help of Michelle a the concierge desk to find a tee time somewhere else but 24 hours prior we we're lucky to find something so make sur you confirme your tee time before you arrive maybe a couple days before.
