Great stay
Excellent resort. Three generations of us stayed. This place exceeded my expectations. Pros: staff are friendly and super helpful, everything is spotlessly clean, rooms are soundproofed and quiet. It is spread out with multiple pools which means it’s not super busy in any one area making it feel exclusive. We ate lunch in the restaurant several days and the food was delicious. We walked into Fira (10 min walk) every evening for dinner and was a nice easy walk even for my 5 year old. Cons: not really a huge deal but the breakfast was lacking options and was the same every day. Tip: buy bottled water from Fira (only 67c for a large bottle) and bring conditioner as the hotel does not provide (the pools make your hair very dry, you will need it!)

Couples Retreat
We loved the hotel for a four-night stay. Pros: very friendly staff, spotlessly clean room and facilities. Beautiful setting, the view is breathtaking from the front of the hotel. We had lunch and dinner in the restaurant and bar area four times during our stay and the food was great. Feels a little like a retreat because the rooms are very well sound proofed, so it was very quiet. We had two treatments in the Spa which was great also. Cons: As others have said, the breakfast options could be improved. I was expecting a lot more. We didn't have breakfast on two mornings.

Great staff
Lovely hotel with great staff. Perfect location to explore Santorini. Unfortunately there is a lack of sunbed so you end up having to reserve one before breakfast. No fresh omelettes at breakfast which is disappointing and the coffee is awful. Lots of lovely coffee shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk so if going just go B&B.

Fantastic hotel. Amazing Holiday
We arrived quite late in the evening, but nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Having checked in, we were taken to our room by golf buggy and our cases carried for us. The hotel is large but never felt overcrowded as the rooms are set out in quadrangles each with its own swimming pool it seemed. There are 6 different pools here so no issues getting a sun bed. People did however leave towels in the morning to reserve. The pools are cold but that was very welcome as it was very hot. The sun beds need mentioning here..the matresses are about 30cm thick and very comfortable. Very easy to fall asleep in the sun - be careful! The room was light, airy and cool, the bed was very comfortable and we were lucky enough to have a balcony with pool AND sea view! We went bed and breakfast which was great as it gave us the opportunity to try the loads of restaurants in the centre of Fira. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food from cereals, fruit to bacon and eggs. The bar is lovely and the food very good. We didn't use the spa or gym facilities so cannot comment on those The hotel is only a 10 minute walk (with amazing views) into Fira where you can get the bus from the bus station to virtually anywhere on the island. We would highly recommend El Greco Resort and we will be definitely returning.

Great location but lack of sunbeds
Lots of pools but unfortunately a huge lack of beds! Comfortable rooms and great air con. Unusual that there was no do not disturb or make up my room signs so no control over housekeeping. Great cocktails.
