Not worth the money and needs a good renovate.
So stayed here for 4 nights on our way back from Australia. On arrival was offered an upgrade (at a price reduced apparently) , was originally informed we may want to upgrade as firstly our room wasnt ready and secondly it was on the ground floor in the old block and was told, maintenance work going on outside on the street side. In a nut shell, I asked to view both rooms to compare and well, the allocated room was probably the worst I have walked into in along time, smelt of damp, dingey and no view and maintenance right outside. The second upgrade room was in the 2nd tower, top floor, great view. I questioned and argued the first room was unacceptable and failed to reach my Travel agent in the Uk because of the time difference so decided to upgrade and sort later. I did feel at the time it was all a ploy to get more money out of us and the hotel isnt cheap as it is. The hotel is in need of TLC, the corridors to start with. Breafast room was awful and felt like a canteen, too busy , loud and found it better to sit outside if we could. We really thought having the "Hilton" name within its title it would be ok but it wasnt. Would not return at all.

Friendly staff and superb service with cozy rooms!
Stayed here for 1 week and loved the location, spacious room had amazing Hawaiian Tropic lotions and breakfast omelettes were so good! The pool area was very relaxing, friendly service especially Otto who was helpful in sharing places to visit and food recommendations. Only wish they had complimentary coffee or tea for guests during evening reception.

Very good hotel overall!
The hotel is great and the free bfast and evening reception is very nice. The corner room we have on the 21st floor has an amazing wrap around great view of both the ocean and the city, but is bit smaller than other rooms due to the large round pillar used to support the building! The mattresses need to be replaced as can feel the soreness in my back as I am very sensitive to mattress types.

Another great stay!
Another great time! Great location - close to shops, restaurants, and the beach! Really enjoy the evening reception. Kaola and Maile are an awesome team! They are always very welcoming and friendly to us! We really appreciate them! We also always like to visit with Dennis and Louis at the Pakini Bar. Always friendly and welcoming! Otto at the pool deck does an awesome job! He is always ensuring the pool area is clean and is also very friendly and welcoming to us! Breakfast is great with made to order omelette and many other items. Great to be able to see the Friday night fireworks from the pool deck. The only downside for this trip was housekeeping. Smudges on the sliding glass doors and tabletops and counters not cleaned up. The once ashtrays that are now converted to trash cans on each floor and a bit rediculous. They are super small and always overflowing.
