  First time in St. Martin

  The Esmeralda Resort (on the French side of St. Martin) is ideal for those desiring peace and tranquility in beautiful surroundings. It's nothing like a typical hotel, rather, it is villa type accommodation. There are four units per villa and each villa has its own pool. Somedays we had the pool to ourselves. The onsite restaurant, L'Astrolabe, features delicious food and friendly wait staff in a unique setting. Close by is another excellent restaurant called Le Sud. Orient Beach was a bit of walk for us. We wish it had been easier to reach. If you need provisions for your room, you can go to a small grocery store near Bikini Beach. It has a decent selection of wine. Our unit's bathroom had a bathtub/shower combo, which was fine, but the tub was so high we had trouble getting in. It would be fine for younger people with longer legs! We wish the Esmeralda property featured more hand rails and better exterior lighting. To sum up, the Esmeralda was pleasant, clean and safe. Staff were easy to deal with. Our surroundings were inspiring.

  Beautiful resort in a quiet setting

  My wife and I spent four nights at your beautiful resort and had a wonderful time. The room was spotless and the service was extradinary. The semi-private pool off of the rear balcony was where we spent a great deal of time. There was a large shower and the kitchenette had plenty of dishes and utensils; they even had a bottle openor. The beach and restaurants were a 2 minute drive. There is also a restaurant on site where we ate breakfast. The location of the resort is in a quiet area and it was hard to find at night as the streets aren't named. I highly recommend this resort

  Consistent quality and comfort

  We had an amazing experience at Hotel Esmeralda. As returning guests during this time of year, we continue to be impressed by the consistent quality and comfort the hotel provides. The staff is always welcoming, the rooms are spotless, and the overall atmosphere makes every stay feel relaxing and enjoyable. We truly appreciate the attention to detail and the exceptional service we receive each time. Looking forward to returning again!

  We will be back!

  What can I say. From the moment we enter the reception area to the moment we exit on last day it was nothing but exelent. Every member of the staff from concierge to waitresses to maintance people or housekeeping we only had great experience. Stayed in building 55 what has 4 units with little private pool. How spoil did we get that we was only quests there for almost whole week. Breakfast what was included In our package was light but fresh and delicious! 5 min walk to the coco beach club where we had lounges assigned for Esmeralda quests was nice suprise. Very luxurious and can say that best lounge beds on the orient beach! Also in coco club the service was fantastic! Very quiet and relaxing holidays About 10 min from the village where all the restaurants are. Will we come back? Absolutely! Thank u to wonderful people in this resort ! They made our vacation memorable Thank u and see u again!

  Relaxing, clean,and the people are wonderful

  If you want a place where the people are friendly and so helpful this is your place! The resort was very clean and so relaxing. I would highly recommend this resort. We had a wonderful time.
