Wow wow. Paradise!! Fairmont Mayakoba
The Fairmont Mayakoba is definately paradise! We have been several times, with friends, with family and can’t wait to return. Just when you think it cannot get any better, it gets better! The food is amazing, the staff are so kind and helpful, the resort is spotless with constant upgrades being done. There is plenty to see and plenty to do! We love biking around the property, walking the beach, and enjoying the variety of swimming pools. There is always someone available to bring a cocktail or snack. The staff are plentiful and always available. Thank you Fairmont Mayakoba!! See you again!

Fabulous experience at Fairmont Mayakoba
A beautiful welcoming lobby greeted us, with a cool towel after a long travel day. Check in was easy, we were upgraded to a newly renovated casita suite which was a nice perk. The rooms are gorgeous, modern but chic with a spacious bathroom that includes a stunning outdoor shower. The grounds are perfectly manicured with winding lagoons throughout the property where boat tours run regularly taking you all over the unique Mayakoba property. The Maykana beach club is their new crown jewel and it does not disappoint! A gorgeous infinity pool anchors the site, opening onto the perfect white sands beach. Of all 4 properties at Mayakoba, Fairmont arguably has the best piece of beach real estate with a wide swath of beach front. Maykana has amazing restaurants including Brisas and Gaia which provide your meal in a stunning setting overlooking the ocean. Upstairs of Maykana is a ultra chic bar, Cielo, with sunken seating in a pool. A cool place for a nightcap. Back near the main area of the hotel, La Laguna has been updated, to have 5 fresh pools that is divided in such a way, that many times you feel you have your own private pool area. There is plenty of seating, so no fighting for empty chairs. At la laguna is also Cafe Maya, a perfect place to start your day with a coffee and pastry then there are two terrific restaurants overlooking the canals. Lastly don't miss Tauro, the steak house at Fairmont, for an amazing steak dinner experience. Quick shout out to Jesus, one of the shuttle drivers. What a great attitude. He was fun, engaging and really made you feel welcome. The kids always tried to find his specific shuttle to grab a drive to and from the beach because he always made the short trips super enjoyable. Lastly also have to mention the watersports staff on the beach. One of them took the time to play soccer with my son for nearly an hour each morning. Watching them play 'keep-ups" or seeing him teach my son a new trick was so heart-warming. It was the highlight of my son's trip! Fairmont Mayakoba truly is a gem...we will be back!

Great experience
The service, amenities, and grounds were all exceptional. The surrounding nature is great for bird and aquatic wildlife enthusiasts. Free bikes everywhere to get around or hitch a ride in a golf cart. Ice and water dispensers are all over.
