Not a family hotel anymore
Not a family-friendly hotel anymore If you want to drop off your kids at a “kids club” for hours and check out of parenthood, this is your option. The hotel now seems to decide for parents who prefer to be separated from their children for more than six hours in the afternoon. We’ve stayed here three times in the past 18 months, but today everything has changed—and it’s no longer a family hotel. There are no more nightly shows for families. At the pool, there’s a slide that’s dangerous for little ones because older kids push them, ride it backwards while smaller children are going down—and nobody says anything! On the positive side: the food is good and the waitstaff and restaurants offer excellent service. But the idea that parents actually want to lose the few vacation hours they get with their kids is the key issue. I’m still at the hotel and I’m very upset by the lack of empathy from the reception team and kids club staff. I’m grateful to Fernanda, the manager, for listening and trying to help—but with these changes, this hotel is no longer part of our vacation memories. I hope that other families who want to truly enjoy the 18 short summer vacations they have with their children don’t waste their money here—because this is NOT the right investment.

Food Motivated
Eladio in the market was very kind and made us feel welcomed every morning, don't forget to stop and see Paola in the evening at the market for the best crepes, and head to Don Robertos for the most authentic tacos you will have

Service & Kids Club review
The service here was exceptional. The buffet workers, Gladio, Nayeli, Henry Sosa, Daniel, Alberto, Oswaldo, Enrique and his partner (Anselmo?) were wonderful. They always catered to our large party and were able to provide us with all the options we needed especially for the children in our group. The Kids Club deserves all the rave, especially Itzel. Our children thoroughly enjoyed attending the kids club, often times wanting to stay longer. Overall, a great experience. Thank you!

Honeymoon - Must Visit!
Paola at the Market made the world’s best crepes! Fabian from the concierge desk was so helpful in navigating everything all week! Limber at El Mexicano makes hands-down the most incredible guac, we got the secret to amazing guac from him! Wilberth at Don Roberto gave us the secret to their amazing sauces and the tacos were to die for, I would fly all the way back just for those tacos! Diego and Sergio at the swim up bar were quick and kind! Luis, Jessica and Noe at the Spa were amazing as well! Overall great experience and great honeymoon :) All staff were friendly and kind but these were our stand-out interactions. Rooms were nice and clean every day, couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!
