    Fabulous location right on the beach!

    Fabulous location! Our 2 room suite was on the 1st floor near the pool. Loved the extra space, and the deck with table, Umbrella, Chairs, and lounge chairs. Participated in morning water aerobics and other activities which were fun. Great spot for the sunset. Nice pool bar from 11am-5pm. Little walk to the beach, with restaurant and bar nearby, chairs and umbrellas provided. Great staff all around. Good security. Parking a bit tight.

    Pleasant stay

    pro: nice beach minimal waves, nice pool, comfy bed, kitchen & appliances (although our coffee maker didn't work&knife still had bread on it from previous person so check for cleanliness),distance to many restaurants, friendly check in staff & cleaning staff, washer/dryer available, always a palapa/umbrella available. Cons: approached daily by someone selling marijuana, watched guy make drug sells in the hotel hallway, people directly under our unit smoking said marijuana making it difficult to use balcony in evening & marijuana smell in other hallway areas (never had this happen before on prior visits), towel attendants not friendly (by pool lady sat 5 ft away asking me to yell out my room # & towel count, towel return by restaurant guy wore head phones & pointed to the return bin, not friendly at all), horrible road in front of hotel, loud karaoke in evening at hotel restaurant but done by about 8pm. Overall had a pleasant stay but seemed like a rougher/party type crowd than our previous visits. (I have posted this same review under Expedia with pictures as hotel/air was booked with them).

    Shiesty Company

    SHIESTY...... My trip was during HURRICANE ERIN, on August 16th 2025. My flight was cancelled and they refused to refund my money. All the air travel was cancelled to the island because of the hurricane. I will never stay at Hilton anything again. There are many great resorts and hotels in St. Maarten, that have sound business practices and I will stay at one of them when I come back. I had to dispute the charges with my credit card company. I will never use Hilton or Orbitz again, AND I purchased the insurance.

    Excellent stay

    My husband and I stayed here at flamingo Beach for five days. The front desk staff were so kind and very friendly. Monica, the manager for the cleaning department was outstanding also. Well, stay here again excellent service. Except for the pelican Bay bar. Bartenders were not very friendly.

    Pathetic house keeping

    Hotel and facilities were very nice, house keeping was pathetic. Our bathroom, shower, sink, and toilet was not cleaned. Also, towels were not replaced. We called house keeping and they came the very next day and did the exact same thing, bathroom was not cleaned and towels not replaced. We decided to check out because of this. Would not recommend this hotel.
