Not one of the best all inclusive resorts I have been to .Rooms need renovating .No welcome drinks or snacks in rooms.had to beg for towels and alot of the employees there are racist.

Oct 20, 2025A truly disappointing experience
I arrived with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Even though I paid for early check-in, the process was disorganized and handled without proper attention. The most alarming moment happened at the buffet Pacific restaurant, where I found a dead fly on the plate with the food my son was eating. What shocked me even more was the hotel’s official response, which stated: “our restaurants are open-air spaces and therefore we are not exempt from situations like the one mentioned.” Calling that “normal” is completely unacceptable. It shows not only a lack of hygiene control but also a serious lack of empathy toward guests. A hotel that claims international standards should take responsibility, not justify such incidents.

Overall, a fun & friendly experience. Unfortunately, I flew Delta NYC to PTY and the resort is a 2 hour drive from the airport (UBER $140) Decameron boasted a shuttle pickup from airport when we booked, but over a 3 week period, it was impossible to reach anyone at the hotel to help arrange transportation. Upon arrival, I was informed that the EXPLORER Company arranges all airport transportation & excursions…but it seems their toll-free USA tel# is out of service. Moving on…our Panama Canal/Shopping experience excursion was AMAZING! Our guide “Yani” was enthusiastic, informative and very dedicated to everyone getting the most out of their experience! Top-Tier Guide!⭐️ Decameron staff is also top-notch and we found restaurant service impressive. Room service prefers you multi-use your towels, but if you leave them on the floor…they will happily replace. Daily Reservations necessary for the specialty dining. Getting upon check-in and it’s easy. Pools on the property are crystal clear and well maintained & supervised.

We had a great time. Everyone (employees) were very professional and helpful. We do feel that the accommodation are a bid dated and can use some renovation but the environment and food was excellent.
