Oct 16, 2026Babymoon/3rd Anniversary. Hilton Riviera Exceeded our expectations in every way!
My wife and I decided to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary/Baby Moon at the Hilton resort in PV. The accommodations were everything we could have asked for AND MORE. I kid you not. Wife is 7 months pregnant, loves the ocean… with a lot of other resorts, it can be a challenge getting to and from a swimmable beach. Hilton Riviera has a BEAUTIFUL, swimmable beach access directly at the resort. I can’t tell you what a gift it was for my wife (and me) to be able to enjoy pristine ocean swimming without having to handle the logistics of leaving the resort at this stage in her pregnancy. In addition, the multiple pools, (pool has designated adult area) and 7th floor jacuzzi options with a bar and incredible view left us feeling we had every enjoyable option at our disposal. Mama was absolutely covered as far as getting her luxury/adventure itch scratched without needing to tax herself to get it. I, personally, am a daily gym goer. I can be either stoked, or disappointed depending on the fitness amenities— and the gym did NOT disappoint. The cardio equipment looked brand new, and all of the VARIOUS options of machines and dumbbells were new or completely updated and EVERYTHING was maintained. I mean if you are competitive cross-fitter or powerlifter, you may need something more; but if you are a consistent gym-goer, heck even a body builder, this gym goes above and beyond the call of duty. Now, for one of our FAVORITE parts of our vacations— food! For our Anniversary dinner, we had a reservation at Sunam where they serve Asian fusion. (Wife and I love Pad Thai) Spring Rolls were absolute fire, I had the sashimi trio and we both had Pad Thai. The food was incredible and they even served us a delicious customized anniversary desert! Very special touch. For the majority of our stay, for monitoring our own schedule—- we ate at the Vela buffet. Now, let me tell you something (Jon Bernthal voice)— We love food, and many of the resorts we’ve been to have had great food and service, don’t get me wrong. But the quality of food that they are serving at Vela, and the intentionality of service offered is one-of-a-kind. Perfectly slow cooked brisket on fresh handmade tortillas… for BREAKFAST. My wife is Venezuelan, and she told me she has never had Plátanos as delicious as the honey plátanos they served here. There is an option for every one, for every craving and every option is of the highest quality and simply feels like it is made with love. I don’t know how else to describe it, the texture of the donuts… the way the beans are cooked, you can just taste the intention and care put into the food here, it was remarkable. 5 STARS. This same standard of quality you will see reflected in their service staff. GENUINE, smiling faces. Happy to see you, welcoming you, happy to assist you. Not a single moment during our stay did I feel that myself, nor my wife were a bother to anyone working at this resort. From Fernando in the gym, who instructed our water aerobics class to the service staff in the restaurant, the attentive, friendly and eager to accommodate nature is reflected throughout! Marcos made incredible customized omelettes and offered an empassioned tour of the food options. Rosario, Esmaralda, Nohely, and Pedro in the restaurant who greeted us daily, remembering our orders (specifications and all). They even brought us a farewell plate, knowing it was our last day. Just these little touches made our experience that much more memorable and in a very short time during our stay we felt at home. Between the location, the incredible amenities and service and the welcoming staff; our cup overfloweth. I truly felt in this experience that we lacked nothing. Amazing Relaxing Stay!
My husband and I stayed at the Hilton Vallarta Riviera for our honeymoon in September and had an absolutely amazing time. The room was clean and housekeeping came on a daily basis. We were upgraded to a higher floor for a better view upon check-in at no cost. The food at the restaurants was absolutely amazing. Our favorites were the Italian and Mexican restaurants. The waiters at La Luce, including Exael, Ana Laura, and Ian were amazing and the food was to die for. We didn't have the best luck at the buffet (Vela). Room service food was great. The pools were clean and waiters brought food/drinks poolside regularly with great service. There were daily and nightly activities every single day including live performances, karaoke, guacamole/cocktail making, and so much more. We booked massages which were absolutely amazing, as well as a private romantic dinner on the beach which was absolutely beautiful. I would most definitely recommend this resort to anyone. Though it is a kid-friendly resort, we were never bothered by loud kids, and the adults-only pool was very relaxing. The beach is only steps away from the pool and beautiful and safe to swim in, with life guards on watch.

WONDERFUL VACATIONS
Simply ESPECTACULAR. The hotel, the rooms, the amenities, the services, the accommodations, the activities. This is my second time and everything was MARVELOUS.
