Yuck! This dated resort needs serious renovations. I was extremely disappointed with the condition of our rooms. The rooms have a strong and musty mildew odor, mildew on the walls and lamp shades, chipped paint, and overall appearance well below the standard expected of an all inclusive resort. One of the rooms had ants in the bathroom and puddles of water on the floor. We were initially supposed to stay for 5 nights but because the rooms did not reflect the quality of hospitality promised, we left after one night and got an Airbnb. The food was also a mess. I honestly can't think of one good thing about this resort. Two of the front desk attendants decided to be smart asses and offended when we complained. The resort should be ashamed! Take some time off to get this place up to par before advertising for people to vacation here. The Grand Palladium Vallarta is the Bates Motel of all inclusive resorts. It's a hard no for me.

Overall disappointing experience had some high hopes for this location. As some one who travels to different all inclusive resorts this one fell short . We hope that feedback shared will make a difference and future travelers have a better experience .

Food was horrible and you couldn't go in the water at the beach!
If you are are only going to surf then maybe this is your hotel but other than that I would not recommend it. The food was horrible...you know it is bad when your 17 year old who loves any food says it is bad. It was the same everyday and was just bad buffet food. Unfortunately the a la carte restaurants were not much better. At the beach if there was the slightest bit of waves or current the lifeguard would not let anyone go in past their ankles, even adults. Before 10am and after 7pm when the lifeguard was gone, lots of people went in and everyone was fine. Overall this hotel was a big disappointment. Luckily my teens surfed which they loved but I would definitely recommend if coming to the area for surfing to stay at the hotel next door which has much better food!
