Truly Beautiful Resort! This is one of the most beautiful resort in Bermuda. We have beach front room just 25 steps from the beach. The ocean was calm and I was able to swim in the ocean. We stayed at Rosewood Bermuda for 3 nights before we came to Grotto bays for another 3 nights. Rosewood is a beautiful luxury hotel but the ocean was really rough at the beautiful beach club. I could not be in the water, also we need a shutter to the beach. With Grotto Bay resort , just a short walk to the beach with calm ocean. We snorkel in the shallow area called honeymoon beach by the Gazebo with hundreds fish. I had a wonderful time. The oceanfront balcony room I occupy is simple in design but it fulfills all my needs. The proximity to the pool and dive shop is a absolutely advantage. Obtaining lounge chairs at the beach and pool has been surprisingly easy. The beach restaurant proved to be an excellent dining option, with a varied and appetizing selection of food. The Hibiscus and Palm restaurants at the main building offered exceptional menus with the soothing sounds of live piano and guitar music. I also have enjoyed the indoor bar. My appreciation goes to Samantha, the restaurant manager, for ensuring our needs were met. I am also grateful to Raymond, the morning captain, for accommodating my request to sit with my husband during breakfast, even though I opted for a continental breakfast while he had the buffet. Although our package did not include food and beverages, we will definitely consider the inclusive option in our next visit. The activities area next to the dive shop offers kayak, snorkel gear, and motorboat rentals for guests. The on-site dive shop is a great amenity, with dive trips departing from the hotel. Grotto Bay's beach is near two shipwrecks in front of their beach, which was a pleasure to see. We also appreciated visiting the hotel's Grotto, although we did not swim. The Natura Spa massage was fantastic. We had Swedish massages and loved them. The massage oil used was of superior quality and smelled wonderful. The Grotto's massage spa was beautiful and provided a great experience. Thanks to Vena and her colleague for their excellent service to my husband and me. The location of Grotto Bay is ideal, with Swizzle Inn, famous for its original rum swizzle, within 4 minutes walking distance, offering the option to dine and drink. Additionally, Bailey's Bay Ice Cream is across the street, providing a variety of dining choices beyond the hotel. The proximity of the bus stop, which connects to Downtown Hamilton and St. George, is also great. We appreciate the excellent experience at Grotto Bay Resort and look forward to returning next year.

Grotto Bay what a place 90 minutes away
Had a great 4 days flying in from Boston on a 90 minute flight. 10 minutes from the airport and then hit paradise in Bermuda. The Grotto staff was very attentive and tried however they could to make our stay fun. The property has been updated recently and is in great shape.

Wonderful experience
My friends and I booked the all inclusive package here for 5 days to celebrate our collective 60th birthdays. What a wonderful experience! Everybody we dealt with here was welcoming, lovely and helpful. The all inclusive package is WELL worth the money. This includes all food and a generous selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, as well as non-motorized sports(kayaks, paddleboards, etc.) and bus and ferry passes. The location is excellent and convenient. Very clean and well kept. Cant wait to come back!

I agree with the other reviews regarding the stairs. They really need to figure out something for us older guests. Yes, they did drive us to our room which was at the furthest possible point from the main desk/restaurant area. All uphill. But dang.... I understand Bermuda is hilly, but I didn't sign up for a workout vaca. That being said, Grotto bay is lovely. The employees are (mostly) all great. They try hard to go bove and beyond. The food was just average to me. We did NOT do the all inclusive and were glad we didn't. There are nice places to eat all over the island if you plan to leave the resort. If youre there on a Wednesday be sure to catch a bus to Harbour Nights. Lots of fun. Rooms are small, but clean. Actually almost everything at Grotto Bay is small. The beach, the pool, the cave. The entertainment was almost non-existent. VERY low key in that area. Really should work on improving that. All in all, a nice resort. Not sure if Id go back to Grotto Bay, but would defiantly love to return to Bermuda.

This is the place to stay in Bermuda!
This resort has exceeded my expectations! The food was delicious, the drinks were great too, but the star of this facility is the staff as well as the people of Bermuda. There were no frowns, no sighs - just everyone happy to wait on you. We were a group of 8 and found everything to be perfect. The spa was out of this world amazing. The cave and the surrounding areas were just incredible. Even the gift shop hostess was kind and informative. We had the all-inclusive plan which was well worth it. This will not be our last time at Grotto Bay!
