The best staff in tenerife!
This was our 5th time visiting this hotel and each time it just gets better! We stayed in the privilege rooms where the infinity pool and bar on the 6th floor is simply stunning. The hotel is spotlessly clean, well kept gardens, quality food but the best part is the staff. We have made great friendships with Marcos, Katia, Lucia and Martha who are just amazing and so welcoming everytime. In the privilege restaurant the view, the team are absolutely wonderful, Xuan, Jose and all the team have the best customer service skills and really care for the guests. They knew my favourite coffee was with skimmed milk and always made sure I was looked after, thank you so much! David in the lobby bar is so nice and also Diego in route 66 is always so kind and helpful! The staff in this hotel are the best in Tenerife and we cannot wait to return! Thank you!!!!!

Best Hotel in Tenerife
The hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of quality, service, and cleanliness, making it an excellent choice for an ultimate, relaxing getaway. The rooms are fantastic—large, modern, with safes, complimentary water, efficient air conditioning, and super comfy beds. The staff are incredibly helpful and courteous, providing top-notch service throughout our stay. Every area of the hotel, from the pool deck to the dining venues, felt immaculate and well maintained. We can’t wait to return!

Great new hotel, moden and big but with a privilege feeling and some great restaurants.
Excellent AI hotel, located in a quieter part than Playa de los Americas. The hotel is perhaps 5 or 6 years old, not a high rise bur a series of 3 interconnected 5 storey high buildings. The hotel has several pools, heated, 1 sweet water, the others salty, with 2 infinity pools, one on the ground floor and one roof too for customers of their privilege rooms. The latter pool being absolutely stunning. Their standard privilege rooms are all big, circa 30 to 35sqm with a large balcony (much better than Ibero stars 4 or 5 *) and a family of 3 fit well without lacking any space to move around the beds. The venue packages includes free parking, plenty of it, after check-in, we got to park our car right next to the lift going up the privilege building, which is the furthest one from the lobby area and from the Hard Rock Hotel (there weren't any loud Friday night open air party during our 1 week stay, despite a pretty full season). The kids club has a limited range of activities for bigger kids, of 6 and above, despite plenty of space outside, they mostly set activities around drawings inside, rather than games or outside activites (like at Ibero star). Food wise, as many other have wrote, the buffet is a weak point for a 5*, it is definitely 4*. But, within Privilege package you can have daily diner or lunch at the various restaurants, according their opening times, we tried them all, and have to say that " The View" restaurant was simply outstanding in term of quality and service, some of the others were good, but not as much, and the Japanese (Sakura) an absolute disappointment in term of service and food quality, no surprises I would say, hard to get decent Japanese food in the middle of Tenerife, but even the staff was weak there (extreme long waiting times and slow service). Thumbs up to the staff of "The View", Xuhan, Riccardo, Marta, Katia, who have showed the competence level of a Michelin starred staff, friendliness and spot on every time. Great staff ! The beverages accessible throughout the venue as Privilege are of better quality, and the existence of a separate lounge with self accessible drinks, which is open longer than the outdoor bar, is part of the better experience too. On the disappointing side was our check in experience, extremely slow and no "Privilege" separate desk, despite the brand policy, very limited desk support, if none, when we asked help to book their restaurants (impossible for the first 2 days via the app) till we complained to guest relations who immediately reacted, delat withe the issue but asked us "why didn't we come forward earlier"... Management, please make receptionist accountable as well for customer experience, they aren't here just to hand keys... All in all, a very good experience if you select the Privilege AI package, food at the restaurants is definitely worth it and the separate roof top pool is so quiet and pleasant with plenty space and a separate bar over there, spa access is as well included, which was a great fall back the 2 days weather turned to be colder. All the benefits enhanced our stay. The Kids club exist but has limited activities for school age kids and their app to manage the restaurant is not providing much priority to privilege customers to book anything. Except that, we loved every bit of our stay there and would contemplate to come back

Not quite the 5* we were expecting
We had booked this hotel for our luxury holiday of the year and were extremely disappointed with our experience. On arrival we upgraded to a Privilege Suite after being told of the benefits (rooftop pool, lounge, a la carte restaurants etc). Having already paid a substantial amount for the holiday, we decided to treat ourselves and went ahead and upgraded. We received a Welcome Gift which was a voucher for a free cocktail (however we were all inclusive so it wasn't really a gift). When we arrived in our suite, the Air Con wasn't working, we informed reception who initially brushed us off and said it would kick in and to make sure all the doors were closed (they were) and after an hour, it was only getting hotter. We contacted reception again who sent someone to take a look at it, who pushed some buttons and said it was working now...it wasn't! So we told reception again and asked for fans which they dismissed and eventually we asked if we could just move rooms which at midnight they finally agreed (we'd been up since 4am so we were desperate for a comfortable nights sleep to start our holiday). We had a suite on the top floor and while we know the hotel can't control the wildlife and birds who used our balcony as a regular toilet, they do have control over the cleaning of it and we had to report to reception the one day after our items we were drying out there got covered - it happened again where the sunbeds out there were covered and not cleaned off once during the rest of our stay (we therefore didn't make use of the balcony at all as we really shouldn't have to ask for it to be cleaned each time, it should be part of the daily clean). On our second night, we then went to the main bar in the reception area where we asked for a baileys and a baby Guinness - it could have been a misunderstanding but the bartender who took our order said very sternly 'No you can't have that [the baby Guinness], look around it's too busy for that' and slapped down a cocktail menu infront of me and said I could choose something from there. Even if it wasn't available or he didn't understand what I was asking for he was very rude in telling me I couldn't have something because it was too busy? The coffee shop and hotel shop were also closed for a number of days during our stay. And the pool bar restaurant also requires a reservation for lunch. The Privilege Service isn't quite what we expected it to be - it's not adults only and there were children in and out of the infinity pool throughout the day. The pool officially opens at 10am but most days the lifeguards and towels didn't come out until 10:45am. Also at the Infinity pool, you have to go to the bar every time you want a drink (and dispose of your own empties) there's no one who comes round to take drinks orders or clear empties away. Twice in the 8 days we were there, the bar tender made a blender full of fruit drink and handed it out to a few people, however there wasn't enough for everyone out by the pool so they just gave them to a few people and that was that. No more was made or offered around. The Privilege Lounge is nothing more than a self service bar with no real atmosphere. The a la carte restaurants are one starter, main and dessert per person (we've been to other all inclusive where you aren't limited in a la carte, we also don't take the mick, sometimes we have more starters and one or no dessert) but here they were quick to tell us we need to pay for it! Another thing to note in the main buffet restaurant was that were no labels on any of the desserts to say what they were or what they included, other savoury items were labelled. Overall, the service really lacked and it really tainted our experience. We felt like everything we ever asked of the staff was too much and I really don't think we were being unreasonable. We did highlight a number of times to Reception and the Guest Services team and even spoke to the manager with no real outcome. We know that some people did try to go above and beyond but continued to fall short of our expectations and we wouldn't look to return here. Review of restaurants: Buffet - very samey each day not a huge amount of variety Route 66 - didn't try Pool bar - you have to book for lunch Stromboli - good variety and menu, good pizza Sakura - tasting menu, everyone eats the same thing Privilege - more of a fine dining option while it was nice, there's no sides (veg or salads etc). Mikes - coffee shop but was closed for a chunk during our stay

Excellent!
We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. It was built only 4 years ago and is spacious covering quite a bit of land, with three blocks altogether. The staff were professional and friendly. We can't wait to return and can't really fault our experience! The room was comfy, the hotel even provided a mattress topper for my back, as I need a medium soft mattress (this was a worry and I was delighted to find a hotel that could help)! Thank you H10! Nancy our receptionist looked after us so well! We needed a peacful environment to properly rest and sleep as well as enjoy the pool. TUI were around to speak to us if there were any problems. We chose not to upgrade to the privilege level, as the standard option was more than good enough. The buffet food was wonderful, we of course ate far too much! There were amazing acrobatic entertainers and opera singers... the entertainment was wonderful. We hired a car from the airport and after the initial shock from driving on the other side of the road, we were able to park our car in a secure place underneath the hotel. This hotel has great security with a barrier to drive in as a guest and wrist bands to open doors. We managed to visit a few other hotels on the island who had no security in place. We hope to visit in 2 years with our family for another holiday! Thank you again!
