We had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. We stayed for three nights. There is MAJOR construction going on next door. I can’t imagine what it was like for people who faced the construction. I did not, so my room was ok. The noise is unbearable. Drilling, banging, pounding- the “quiet” pool is the loudest place on the property since the construction is right there. The noise on the beach and the other pool is giving me a headache. It’s unavoidable anywhere. It’s impossible to enjoy any amenities (which is why I came to the beach in Miami). Very disappointing. They could have at least issued a warning so I could have chosen not to stay here, or offered us a discount, but instead they just said “sorry, nothing we can do about it”. The general service is lacking and unsophisticated. The gym was dirty, no towels, no wipes (empty open canisters) You have to open the doors in and out of the hotel yourself (sometimes a man is there, often he’s not), so when I came in with all my luggage, I had to struggle to enter and no one cared or noticed to help. There are two large groups here- a conference and a large travel group of teens- we had to wait 10 minutes for an elevator. They use the main outside dining area for these groups so that area is off limits to guests during meals so there is really no outdoor seating for breakfast or lunch. There is no WiFi working at the hotel. The beach is still beautiful, aside from construction noise. The set up with chairs is easy and there are plenty of spots on the beach. The waiter service on the beach is lacking. The path behind the hotel is great for walking and running and biking. The people who work here are all nice. We did extend one night more than we had planned because we didn’t want to rush back to cold weather, but if I could have switched hotels I would have.

Fabulous Service + Great Food!
The onsite restaurant is fabulous, and our server, Ina, was incredible! We had the fajitas…loved the street taco-style tortillas and the flavor of the chicken/veggie mixture was fantastic. Extra shout out to Ina, who earlier in the day made me the best breve latte….better than Starbucks! Highly recommend this little restaurant. No frills, not fancy, but the food has amazing chef written all over it.

Checking out the Hilton
During my 2 days stay at the Hilton i found my stay there very satisfactory, the location of the hotel was in walking distance to the shops and beach my room was big spacy and clean. I used the breakfast/Dinner facility, a young crew on both shifts they made me feel at ease always checking to see if the food was satisfactory and the general knowledge from Fabiana informing me that my Nike hoodie was quite famous!!! PS The river tour at night is spectacular.
