We had a wonderful stay at Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort, from the very first moment of our arrival. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, offered water upon arrival, and our luggage was promptly taken care of, making us feel truly comfortable and well received. A special recognition goes to Mr. Alberto, who assisted us during check-in. His professionalism, kindness, and attention were outstanding. The fact that he speaks Portuguese made a huge difference for our family, helping us understand all the resort options and making our experience much smoother and more enjoyable. We would also like to compliment the entire resort team, including housekeeping and restaurant staff, for their excellent service, friendliness, and high standards throughout our stay. Everything was impeccable. We will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Good Location, Excllent Staff
This was my 2nd time staying at this Property. Overall, very good experience. Good location ( close to airport), very supportive and helpful staff , good beach ( they clean sargassum seaweed every day, so shores are good to hang out, walk etc.). Food in all restaurants is good. However, one suggestion I have is keep more vegetarian variety (no vegan) at all their restaurants and also keep in separate vegetarian section in buffet at Vela Restaurant so it is easy to find vegetarian at one place. Also, I saw lot of Indian origin guest at the hotel during both my visits so keep at least 1-2 Indian dishes option in their food menu across the board. They always have good pool activities such as Aqua Gym, Aqua fit, Pool games , Water Volleyball etc. This time they had very innovative activities inside the pool I will like to call out 2 of them - Sound Bath Therapy and Yoga in the pool ( you do yoga on a floating board ) . It was totally different and very serene experience . I will like to call out 2 individuals in particular- Astoreth and William from Fitness Center who introduced us to these activities and also did an excellent job leading these activities . Also , they introduced a new activity Archery which was held at Amphitheater . I strongly recommend folks to try that . It is very unique and one can have lot of fun. I will also like to call out Mancerrat who lead so many activities – Archery, Aqua Fit, Pool Games, Spanish dance etc. She was awesome and lead these activities with LOT OF PASSION and A BIG SMILE

Dec 23, 2025Charge for a Christmas celebration dinner at an inclusive resort?!
We paid a lot of money to come to Hilton Cancún an all-inclusive resort to celebrate Christimas holidays Dec 21-28, and we were just told that we have to pay US$300 per table for Christmas celebration dinner with lobster, and US$200 per table without lobster; otherwise, without pay it is just a regular dinner; i.e. no special Christmas celebration dinner. To me, that is extortion. We have travelled to Cuba for Christmas holidays vacations at various all inclusive resorts there, and there is always Christmas celebration dinners with lobsters without any charge and we paid much less. When we arrived at the hotel, there was no concierge service, and guests have to take their luggage to their room by themselves. To me, that is extraordinary. The hotel is a massive compound, and to get to your room, you have to walk a long way to get around and for first time comers it can get very confused and difficult to find their rooms. We book an ocean view room, but we were assigned a room facing the half construction side of another hotel building with a side ocean view, instead of a direct ocean view. When we complained, they changed to another room, but this time they gave us a room directly above the night show stage with very loud noisy music. We had to make complaint and finally they gave us a quieter room, and still the washing sink plus was stuck and did not work, and we had to call for a technician to fix it. Otherwise, the hotel is clean and well maintained. If you are a beach person, this is not the place for you. The beach is ugly, the water is not blue but black greenish with lots of seaweeds. The water is always very rough with big waves, nothing to compare with Cuban beach. I do like the black coffee and the passion fruits provided at the buffet for breakfast; the steak at the Auma steak house is excellent, and the waiter Vangelis was most helpful. For seafood lovers, the hotel’s restaurants provide fish, octopus, mussels, shrimps, but unlike in some resorts in Cuba, there are no lobsters for free, you must pay extra money for lobsters! Air Canada did not provide good service this time. First, the flight to Cancun was delayed for more than three (3) hours for a change of air craft. Unlike Sunwing, the flight attendants did not seem to have no special vacation flight training as they did not any special warm welcome greeting to guests. After the guests arrived at Cancun airport, Air Canada receiving representatives did not stand at the immediate front exit door, they stood far away from the door, and it was difficult for guests to find them. Given the substantial amount of money paid, it is not worth the money it’s spent for an all-inclusive Christmas vacation at Hilton Cancun an all-inclusive resort.
