Great stay for a romantic trip.
Lovely hotel. We stayed in the premium OWB and it was awesome. My wife and I had a great time. We jumped directly into the water and could snorkel for hours. Plenty of water sports, solid privacy, hotel pool was great, and the staff was friendly. The only thing that wasn't great is the food. The pool food pizza etc. was solid but the Crepe restaurant was cool, with nice ambiance at night but the food was mediocre at best and not worth what it costs. I would definitely stay here again just eat offsite for major meals.

Excellent Stay for Milestone Birthday!
Great stay at Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa. Read some reviews that were a little concerning before booking however, have come to learn in my many years of travel that people have such different expectations, reviews are often very subjective. The resort is small but beautiful, grounds are well kept and we found the staff friendly and engaging. If you smile and are nice, really seems to be well reciprocated! We stayed on an over water bungalow and for us, it was perfect! Some reviewers note they are dated. Having lived in the Caribbean previously, I can attest to the harsh wear and tear from the elements of sun and water. Yes, decking is faded but that is to be expected. I found the rustic feel of the room to be quite charming and actually what I would imagine. Our room was cleaned daily (nice large bathroom) and minibar restocked. The breakfast buffet is delicious, including a made to order omelette bar. Lunch and dinner options are not 5 star but that was ok. We took the opportunity to see some of the island and visited some local restaurants. In summary, if you are coming with an expectation that you will be at the most luxurious resort ever - you will be let down. If you are coming with a hope and expectation that you will stay at a beautiful place, enjoy an experience of a lifetime and embrace the simplicity with extraordinary views, you will love it!

Amazing Stay but plan ahead for dining variety
We recently spent 8 nights at the Hilton Moorea and had a wonderful, relaxing stay. Our family of four had two rooms, an overwater bungalow and a twin garden bungalow with a private pool. Both accommodations were beautifully appointed and offered very different but equally enjoyable experiences. Even though the resort was at full capacity during our stay, it never felt crowded. There was always space by the pool, loungers available on the beach, and a general sense of calm throughout the property. Despite having the overwater bungalow, we found ourselves really enjoying time at the main pool and beach area. One of the real highlights was the staff. They were all warm, welcoming, and always helpful. Their friendliness made a big difference and helped make our stay feel special. Eight nights felt like the perfect length of time to fully relax and enjoy the resort. The only downside for us was the limited variety of dining options. On the nights the buffet and cultural show were held (three times a week), the other main restaurant was closed. While the show is great to experience once, it’s not something you'd necessarily want to attend multiple times, especially as the buffet, although the food changed, was expensive and didn’t appeal much to our kids. The creperie remained open, but after a couple of times eating there, we’d had our fill of crepes. We tried room service one evening, but unfortunately it was quite slow and the food arrived cold. If we were to return (which we definitely would!), we’d plan to dine out at more local restaurants to add a bit more variety to our evenings. Overall, the Hilton Moorea is a beautiful resort in an unbeatable location, with excellent service and a peaceful atmosphere — a fantastic place to unwind in paradise.

Unforgettable Stay, but Unresolved Issue Diminished the Experience
The setting at Hilton Moorea is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful lagoon, friendly staff, and complimentary water activities like paddleboarding and kayaking available for guests. During our stay, we moved from a garden bungalow to an overwater one — being surrounded by colorful fish and even small sharks was truly a dream experience. Unfortunately, our overall impression was affected by a disappointing incident: I accidentally left my glasses behind at the hotel, and the staff made little effort to help locate them. This impacted the rest of my trip through Polynesia.

Terrible condition of overwater bungalows!
This place is in desperate need of a complete makeover - the bungalows are in pathetic condition, very tired and over[riced for what they have become! I stayed there from July 5 - 8, with my group of 44 guests and were appaled at the mistakes the staff made on our bookings. The so0called general manager Richmond promised to introduce herself to me, however, she never did and stayed away from any guest interaction...pretty sad. Then we stayed at the InterContinental in their overwater bungalows - they are fantastic - day and night difference from the Hilton - don't waste your money!
