I had the most amazing experience teaching Pilates in Mexico! The atmosphere was unreal—such positive, welcoming vibes from the moment we arrived. The entertainment team was amazing, the fitness team (BiBi and Miyo) were incredible. The location was absolutely stunning, with the beach just steps away and a beautiful pool that made every session feel like a dream. What made it even more special was getting to share the experience with my mom. Teaching Pilates in such a relaxing, inspiring setting created memories I’ll cherish forever. The energy, the scenery, and the overall vibe were perfect. I couldn’t recommend this experience more—truly unforgettable!

Delicious Mexican experience at the Hilton all-inclusive
We had a fantastic experience. Exael was our server and he was on top of everything. He made amazing recommendations, drinks were brought quickly, and every person loved the food. Highly recommend when you are here. Make sure you get the soup, the pork and banana leaf, and the Vallarta shrimp.

Huge shout out to Vela servers : Norma, Josē, Amelia and Rosario!! Also Israel, the kayak master, working on the beach! He was epic and welcomed us multiple times and sent us out with a smile! All the staff was excellent. Itziania, the excursion concierge, made our trip by suggesting and booking a day out to Las Caletas. Every one mentioned should be held in the highest regard by Hilton.

Hilton riviera was a beautiful experience. The building was big, a little confusing at first, would be nice to be informed at the front desk about the different elevators accessing different areas of the building. For example only one elevator takes you to the restaurants. On check in, and during our stay, we noticed the staff was not very friendly or efficient. The coffee shop lady looked like she never had energy to work and never smiled. You also have to pay if you want Starbucks coffee or ice cream. I also had a sour experience at Vela breakfast buffet. I was told not to take any food out of the buffet area. As we were walking out, My kids were eating a muffin and a donut. I didn’t have a plate. And I saw many people taking out plates of food. So I don’t understand what the big deal was for my kids to take out a muffin and a donut?! The manager Juan was not very nice. I felt this negatively impacted my experience as I thought this was a family friendly resort. None the less, the servers Isella and Esmeralda and Fidel were top notch. Always friendly, efficient and catered to our needs. The restaurants require reservations. We made early reservations as I have young kids. Different restaurants are open on different days. If you don’t have a reservation, and if the buffet is not open, then you’re pretty much screwed. Room service is atleast an hour out so be wary of this if you have children. The food in all the restaurants were fantastic. But service was poor and unfriendly. Especially at the steakhouse. However, Maxal, the Mexican restaurant was the best experience we had. The food, vibe and servers were excellent. Juan Rofino and Esteban were exceptional. And the guy showing us how to make guacamole was pretty awesome too! The Beach was beautiful and swimmable. Water was warm. Kids enjoyed the beach a lot. It was not crowded or too busy. The pools were great too. They had 2 big pools, one for family and one for adults and a few smaller pools too. However, more servers are required at the pool area. We kept looking for a server to take our order. It’s too much for one person. The shows at night was fun! We enjoyed the shows a lot. The Hilton is about 30mins from airport and about 3 miles to downtown Malecon boardwalk. But it can take very long in traffic. About 20-30mins. But it’s worth the trip. The kids corner was a great touch. They have daily activities for kids and open all day. Lots of toys and games for kids to play throughout the day. The guys at the pools did a good job with the music and keeping guest entertained with water yoga and games. Overall we had a wonderful time! I would rate it a 7/10. I guess I had more expectations from a 5 star resort.

An top notch, all inclusive experience in paradise.
I visited Hilton Vallarta Riviera December 6-13 2025 with my Wife. I was part of the Fitness Vacation Exchange in which I was able to teach fitness classes in paradise. We had an amazing experience!!! The location is about 30 minutes south of the airport and easy to get to with pre-planned transportation. When we arrived we were impressed with the open air concept and breathtaking views of the bay. The staff was welcoming and friendly when we arrived. The entire bell team was ready and waiting for bags and able to direct us around the facility. Check in was a breeze! The first thing we did was go down to the gym to meet BiBi and Wiyo, who were my support team for teaching classes. Those two people are awesome! Very friendly, happy and helpful. They were around all week and helped with set up and take down, got people to join the workouts and made life easy for me. Thank you. Besides the "work" aspect of teaching fitness classes in paradise, we enjoyed all the resort had to offer. After teaching classes we went to the buffet for breakfast each morning and Surprisingly got sat in the same section almost every time, our waitress Norma remembered our beverage order after our first visit and had it ready for us each morning. I eat really clean so I would go to the omelette station and have Marcos clean the grill and make me fresh eggs in butter every day. He did it happily, with a smile and even a little dance. A great way to start the day! After breakfast we enjoyed a few hours tanning on the beach deck. Shout out to Daniel for his amazing service each day and very positive attitude. Whatever we wanted, he had it to us in moments food/drink whatever....all week long. I'm talking 5 star service on the beach front. Kayaks were ready and available each day and Ismael was always there ready to get me in the water with a smile. He was great! I was searching for whales but never got a close up. Still fun paddling out to sea :) We would enjoy a quiet afternoon with another quick workout, some reading and a lunch at cocomar. Get the fish filet and ask for a side of tortillas then make your own tacos!! The best option by far. Each day we had a different server but all team members were great. In the early evening we would walk the beach and watch the sunset.....not a bad way to end the afternoon. I have a big appetite so we would go to a couple spots for dinner each night. I'll just say, Maxal and Susan are the BEST in the resort. We went to each one at least 3 times. Exael at Maxal elevated our dining experience with 5 star service, fun stories and a big smile. Jose at Sunan did the same. We adventured into the Zona romantica and south to hotel Mousai but felt that Hilton Vallarta truly created an experience we didn't need to leave. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing trip!!
