Jul 31, 2026Before you book, Just don’t.
We arrived at 8pm and we went through 3 rooms. The first one had a leaking toilet all over the floor, the next one had coach roaches in the bathroom and the last one we were honestly scared to go into not sure what we would find this time. The 3rd one had a blood stain on the wall, we had them clean it off but were too tired after the hour and half ordeal we just wanted to stop. We were there for the whole weekend. Def do not recommend. It’s outdated and the pictures online aren’t what you get. We’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels as we travel for a living and this was disappointing.

Upon checking in there was a mix up. I was referred to this location from another IHG hotel who was very helpful in getting me what I exactly wanted. If it wasn’t for the front desk staff Ms Joshalynn from the candlewood suites in Maryland who went out of her way to provide me with the location, amenities and the great surroundings I probably would have missed a wonderful time. The staff and atmosphere were nice. Thanks Joshalynn

Check in was pleasant & Easy Nigel Front Desk Manager, very professional & Courteous, Great Team. Room was clean & Great ocean View over look the Gulf with morning coffee. House keeping very Professional & Pleasant. Thank you, See you Next year! CHEF

Only gave 4 stars as decor is dated & in need of update. Facilities & location really good. No cushions in lounge area & patio furniture uncomfortable needs upgrade. Overall good though

Nice spot
Check in was a little slow, staff were friendly. We were surprised w how spacious our room was. We got the room with the bunk beds. It had 2 bathrooms, a living room with a small kitchenette along with a dining room table. Jimmy’s restaurant was fun, with their sunset party. You will most likely see dolphins. I was not overly happy about the 37.00 a day resort fee. I asked the girl what this was for since we didn’t have a car. She said for the pool and shampo, conditioner and body wash. I’m pretty sure all hotels have this. I did appreciate the beach towels. The pool area was nice but tiki bar closes at sunset and isn’t always open. All in all I enjoyed my stay. The pool was nice. The restaurant on site had a great sunset party. I was most upset with was the resort fee of 37.00 day. We did not have a car. I asked what this was for and they said the use of the pool and the room amenities. Last I knew most hotels have a pool and every hotel I have stayed in have had shampoos, conditioner and body wash.
