  Fantastic service and personalities were unbelievable

  Richard the waiter at Oceanside was the absolute best. I would come back to the holiday inn just because of him. Phenomenal personality and he hustles like no other. Fantastic experience!!

  The staff were all accommodating and super friendly, especially front desk and shout out to Emilia for a very clean room

  This hotel is close to the water, open and airy. Plenty of restaurant choices . The room was very clean and the oceanfront view breathtaking especially at sunset.There is something for everyone here .

  Enjoyable Stay, but Service Subpar Service

  The hotel is in a great location, and the pools and outside atmosphere are nice. It was nice to have a beachfront hotel for a relatively reasonable price. I know it’s an older property, but I found the rooms to be comfortable and clean. My cons are really related to the service. I found the staff to not be as friendly and helpful as I’ve experienced in other resorts or elsewhere in Aruba. Although they said they have daily housekeeping, of the 7 days we were there, housekeeping only came three times, and each time I had to specifically ask them to come to service our room. The front desk always blamed it on us, saying we must have had a “do not disturb” sign on (we didn’t). But of course on checkout day, housekeeping was knocking on the door at 9 am. When we went to check out, the front desk did not even ask us how we enjoyed our stay. When I mentioned that I was disappointed about the housekeeping, they said they were “sorry I felt that way.” Another really annoying thing was that instead of putting an incidental hold of $250 on my credit card (like they did for the friends we were vacationing with), they put a hold of the whole room amount for the week (over $3,000), on top of charging me the payment for the room. They told me it was my bank’s fault, but when I spoke to the bank when I returned home, they told me it was a hold the hotel put on, and it may take up to 14 business days to drop off, since it’s an international charge. Holding $3,000+ of someone’s available credit on a credit card has the potential to be devastating for someone on vacation. Additionally, if you stay in the Sea Tower, not on the pool side, be prepared to hear loud music and bass in your room until at least 1 am every night. It was frustrating when we were trying to go to sleep early some nights to wake up for early excursions. All in all, it was not a bad place to stay, and made for an enjoyable first trip to Aruba, but I think their business model is based on getting and “burning and turning” first time customers and not retaining customers for repeat/long term business.

  Run down old Holiday Inn at Intercon price

  Not sure where to start.. checkin was crazy, the room we got was in the palm tower which is over saw a parking lot AND by the Main Street where people are racing, partying until 3AM every night. So not much sleep. The staff is nice and helpful, but in my view the whole place should be torn down and start over it’s like walking into the 70s but not in a cool retro way.. Just OLD and tired. Tommy coatings of paint, too many layers of calking.. the was broken, waterfalls not working, hot tub broken, beach shower broken.. Lastly, high priced everything!! They are charging like they are on the same level as the Hyatt and Mariott next door.. more than half the palapas on the beach were no even used but still charged for them.. all drinks are in a paper cup.. (8oz) even beer.. at 12 bucks a drink.. place as over run my crazy kids ( even at midnight) Anyway I use points to stay here which I feel was a waste of points. Should have used them somewhere else..

  Excellent

  Just arrived!! Love the Holiday Inn in Aruba!! IZEA our server at the Sea Breeze was awesome!! The 1st of many more nights to come!
