This was our 4th stay at Kaveka. We love the location on Cook’s Bay, and were pleasantly surprised at the new renovations. The restaurant has a good selection and the staff was very attentive.

A Gem of Moorea
My husband and I had the opportunity to stay at The (wonderful!) Hotel Kaveka, and it was a dream come true! The Hotel has a magnificent view of the lagoon, has created a warm, authentic Polynesian anmbience, and the staff are exceptionally warm, kind and helpful!! We left our hearts in Moorea, at The Hotel Kaveka, and will return!!

Location is great - we did have a rental car, and found other restaurants, stores and excursions were near by. Our room was standard but clean, with cold AC, a mini fridge and the Wifi worked well. The restaurant on property offers stunning views of Cooks Bay. Although there is no pool, the reef is filled with a ton of life and such great snorkel experience! The staff spoke English well and were friendly. There is a small parking area in front of the of hotel. *Was disappointed on holidays that the restaurant was not open, and no other restaurants on island were open either; as a result we went 24 hours without anything to eat. Would recommend the hotel keep restaurant open even on holidays, as your guests staying at the hotel will need a meal!!

Nice spot on cook bay, beautiful view , restaurant area is quiet nice and we had great connexion with staffs. However , we had one of the cheaper room ($230) , room was dirty , room condition was poor and unfinished. AC bery poor . Quality of food was horrible, they served us a pizza with moldy and expired cheese .... for $27 . Rest of the dishes was very very expensive for what it is . I will not back in this ptoperty for sure .

Terrible front desk and issue resolution when we wanted to leave as they didn’t have a pool which was advertised on hotels.com . Rude front desk, no one available in charge to even make decisions and no understanding that the problem was their responsibility to solve at all blaming us and hotels.com. Rooms are old and dirty, bathroom poor standard for price, almost feels abandoned. Most times no one is manning the front desk so people were waiting to even get to check in or out. Pay more for Cooks Bay or Manava instead - it’s worth it. Or stay at a pension or lodge for half price which is same standard. Big no no for a family as there is no good beach access or pool.
