  Great holiday with party vibes

  Arrived 4/10/25 for a week. Hotel room was great, plenty of space and a lovely bathroom, room overlooking the sea. The towels in the room were a little old and thin. Food in the main restaurant was plentiful and lots of choice. There is something for everyone. Drinks are ok. I enjoyed the mojitos and the baileys coffee. The staff work incredibly hard and are friendly. The communal toilets, pool areas and walk ways are kept clean. The Atlantico grill is definitely worth a visit if you love fish and meat. I was disappointed with the Asian restaurant. The menu choice was too varied. I personally think it would be better if they had a specific menu eg Indian one night Chinese another and so on, rather than trying to put a bit of everything on. The entertainment was good on the whole. There was a saxophone player 2 nights back to back, which was a bit repetitive but the MJ show and RIU neon party nights were fabulous. I went in a party of 3, friends, we all enjoyed it. Courtesy room on departure day was excellent. You book it foc for 30 minutes. Recommend the TUI catamaran trip for adults . We saw pilot whales and bottle nosed dolphins . On the whole a great holiday. Will definitely consider returning.

  Lovely hotel. Would recommend.

  Honest review. Excellent hotel. Would recommend. All staff from management, bar staff to cleaners very pleasant, chattie and efficient at their job. Room really good, cleaned daily. You have to place towels on floor to have them replaced & if you want bedding changed you have to place a card on bed otherwise it is only made daily. Free safe in room. Pool towels available free of charge (with token) & changed whenever you want. Free bottled water from lobby bar. Cleaning constantly through day of whole hotel. Food good - even picky eaters will eat well - 4 buffet, 3 to be pre booked in advance - you have to download hotel app to your phone to do this. Self serve beer, wines, soft drinks, coffee etc in all bars. Food available 24hrs (burgers, sandwiches etc). Always sun beds available never mind what time - maybe not the exact place you want to be but I'm not that person that puts towels down at ridiculous hour. 4 great pools to choose from. Day time entertainment I carnt comment on as I didn't join in, but heared it through the day. Evening entertainment quite good for all inclusive, with outside acts & sometime the animation team, who I would say is brilliant - not like other hotels that I have stayed in. These animation team are something else - well done to them, they give everything & put on a really good show. I was there for the neon night on Friday - what a show, absolutely fantastic, best I been in any hotel - a real credit to this hotel. Chuck out time 12 mid day, but you keep your all inclusive till you leave hotel. Free good WiFi. I was there end Sept 2025 and shall be returning 15th December 2025 and can not wait. See you then Riu.

  Great holiday apart from bringing COVID home

  I was pleasantly shocked by this hotel. It is in a quiet area but everything you need is at the hotel. The staff were amazing and the place is lovely and clean. We returned home on the 9th and tested positive for COVID the next day. I've also spoke to someone else the same and we weren't on the same flight or anything. It's unfortunate that someone was obviously not taking care not to spread their germs. I would return to the hotel though it was a lovely relaxing holiday. The only negative was the bar man on the reception area Claudio speaking in Spanish to a couple berating the English people there. Made me feel uncomfortable hearing this. Apart from that the holiday was brilliant

  Beautiful hotel but a lot of let downs for a riu hotel

  We've looked at booking this hotel for quite a few yrs because we go in a lot of riu hotels. The hotel is clean the staff are very helpful & polite. The entertainment staff that run the entertainment are brilliant. The entertainment was better our 2nd wk a lot done by the staff. The riu party nights are really good very busy. The let down for us was Saturday & Sunday a guitarist on Saturday & a saxophonist on Sunday sorry not a wkend act for me when on holiday in teneriff. There's 2 buffet restaurants 1 does breakfast lunch & evening meal the other Breakfast continental Break & lunch then turns into the grill in evening. This 1 in my opinion is the better 1 the 1st 1 I think the food is shocking & many of times cold. 3 restaurants to book on riu app plus bookable at reception. All 3 are good Asian Italian & grill 2 sittings for each 1. 4 pools are all nice plenty of sun beds. Not a lot around hotel apart from a shopping centre a couple of restaurants & cheap nic Nak shops. The beach at side of the hotel is dirty & horrible & black sand. I wouldn't return to this hotel iv been in better riu 1s

  Pretty faultless! Excellent hotel.

  What a hotel! The staff were all lovely and friendly and helpful. Couldn’t fault the cleanliness of this hotel. Our room was modern and great pool/sea views on 4th floor, 426. Only one issue with room- was missing a dressing table or chest of drawers, lack of storage space, but wasn’t a huge issue and perhaps we had asked, we might have got one brought. The food in the buffet restaurants was delicious- great choices for all meals. The 2 ala. carte buffets- The Grill and The Dolce Vita Italian were spot on. The Mandalay, although a beautiful restaurant and staff still amazing, the food we found quite tasteless and greasy and we usually love Asian food. Lots of drink choices- useful to be able to pour your own beer and wines and sangria and soft drinks. Entertainment and animation team superb. The White party and Neon Party didn’t disappoint at all!! Always plenty of sunbeds and all 4 Pools were great. Location of hotel is good for hopping on and off buses and lovely walks around the outskirts of hotel on the promenade path. It’s not a beach destination but was nice to be by the sea and we did go snorkelling down the little cove and saw dish- it’s just abit rocky. We had an amazing holiday.
