Jul 05, 2025GREAT TIME IN CARTAGENA 2025
We stayed in the Club Room, which is fairly new, and it came with complimentary breakfast and evening access to the Club Lounge for snacks. We had a great time! The room was very clean and comfortable. While the hallway could use more attention—daily vacuuming would definitely help— We were on the 37th floor overlooking the beach, and the view was beautiful. The breakfast area was spotless, and the staff there were absolutely fabulous. The Club Lounge, open from 4 PM to 6 PM, was also very clean, nicely stocked, and a great spot to unwind in the evening. We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else—Hyatt Regency is our go-to for future visits! Special shoutout to Daniel at the front desk and Rafuel—they, along with the entire team, were amazing. We also dined a few times at the Kokau Restaurant on the 11th floor and received excellent service there as well.

Best customer service!!
I recently stayed at this hotel on the Club Level. It was everything I needed. Nice sized room with great ocean views. All the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Complimentary water, plush robes and soft slippers made it even more enjoyable. Great food with lots of variety in the Restaurant and Club Lounge. Sparkling infinity pool. Very clean gym with cardio equipment and free weights. Soothing and relaxing spa with cozy lounge and beautiful ocean views. Best of all was the great customer service from the ENTIRE staff, EVERY day, ALL day. Thank you to the staff for providing a memorable visit for my first trip to Cartagena. I highly recommend staying at the Hyatt Regency!!

Great small convention hotel.
Great venue. One pool being renovated, so limited pool availability. Beach access not good. However, great rooms, helpful staff and worth a visit.

10/10. Experience.
Everything was like a dream. We had a bay side room and it was beautiful at day and night. The restaurant and bar Kakau had great food and drinks. Room service was delicious. I got breakfast and lunch and it was amazing. Staff are very careful, clean and thoughtful. Always smiling and being caring.

Great views at Hyatt Regency Cartagena
This hotel has a great location, next door is a shopping mall and behind the hotel is a supermarket. We were luck to have a corner room where we had both beach and bay views. The Cartagena walled city is great to visit but I would not want to stay there.
