Great stay always enjoy the service ! One of my favorite extras for this hotel is the friendly staff I feel like we know everyone ! I love the cafecito in the lobby.. also how everything is so close.

Great property with amazing service
Don’t sleep on this hotel! Great property if you’re looking for quieter, chill vibes in the sun with convenient walking distance for lots of restaurant options. The front desk manager, Michael, was super kind and generous and arranged for an amazing amenity for my sister birthday. All the staff are amazing- responsive, friendly, helpful. Food is solid. Breakfast is much better than other Hyatt regency breakfasts I’ve had. The breakfast staff is a bit slow with coffee refills as we had to flag them down for everything, never came to check on us otherwise, but other than this experience, every other interaction with bar tenders, front desk, house keeping we’re all amazing. Rooms are spacious and clean and looks new and modern. They have Cuban coffee available in the lobby which i think it’s such a great touch. I would come back.

Good last minute stay choice
Mostly a really great stay. Last minute one night stay booked after experiencing a flight issue while connecting through Miami. I chose to stay here due to the proximity to the airport and great reviews from Globalists about recognition. I got a nice big room and wanted to stay until 5pm for my new flight. I was required to pay a $25 late check out for the extra hour on top of Globalist late check out due to capacity at the hotel which I duly did. The only negative was upon check in there was a wheel to spin and I asked the front desk if I could spin it for a prize and he said you could but you already get the best prize of $15 bar credit as a Globalist. I asked him what the rules were and he said I could order any F&B as long as it was at the bar and it would be comped up to $15. I got chocolate cake and with tip on top, it came to below $15. When I saw the charge upon check out, I explained what I had been told at check in about it being using a credit and it was removed. I was surprised to see the credit card charge a few days after my stay with the hotel sneakily adding it back on. The ethics of this have me concerned. I had to call my Hyatt Concierge to contact the hotel to get them to remove it - it cost the hotel more in employee time working on the reversal I'm sure and affected my perception of the property. I would stay again but I would caution all guests to check their credit card transactions after the stay to make sure that there are no unwarranted charges added.
