  Great staff

  We visited the Hyatt Vivid Island for the second time in six months, this time for our honeymoon. We were disappointed with the attention given to returning guests, especially on our honeymoon. Our room was the same, and we received fewer attentions than during our first visit. Some items included in the honeymoon package were not even provided. Nevertheless, I want to emphasize the incredible work of the hotel staff, who dedicate themselves day after day to making every stay special, often without receiving tips. Mario, Fernando, and Andrew at the rooftop bar deserve a five-star mention, they truly made our week unforgettable. Hugo at the Vantage breakfast is delightful. Carlos at the Oishi restaurant is one of the best servers we have ever met. Jessica in the main lobby always greets guests with a smile and provides excellent service. Oropesa (if spelled correctly) is fantastic at the buffet. Giovanni provided a wonderful dinner experience in the wine cellar. Jesus at the second-floor bar also delivers outstanding service. Of course, I cannot go without mentioning Raul, who is the most charming person I have ever met. I’m sure I have forgotten many others, but thank you all for making our stay truly memorable.

  Awesome stay at Hyatt Vivid as the Pickleball Pro

  I was the visiting pickleball pro through Pro Fit Travel from 9/28/25 through 10/12/25. This resort is awesome. Shout out to the sports/recreation department (Gigi, Caesar, Angel, Orlando and the rest of the team). These guys do a great job of providing entertainment and activities and are very responsive to any requests. Also, when we were poolside, Oliver did a fantastic job of delivering drinks and food all day long. We will definitely be back in the future! Thanks again Hyatt Vivid Grand Island! Jeff

  Adults-only all-inclusive — super indulgent and the perfect place to relax (and gain a few pounds!)

  An amazing adults-only all-inclusive hotel! It’s the smaller and more affordable option among the all-inclusive hotels, but the quality is just as good. We visited during the low season, so only half of the hotel was operating. Since it’s adults-only, the design is modern and stylish, and the atmosphere is great. There are daily activities tailored for adults—from yoga and pool spinning classes to wine tastings. There are two pools, very comfortable rooms (we stayed in the most basic one, which was already very luxurious, with a beautiful view of the bay and a balcony), and a rooftop pool with stunning views (open to everyone from 6 PM). Breakfast and lunch are served as a rich buffet, while dinners are à la carte (Asian, Italian, French, Mexican—you can book as many as you want). You can order as much alcohol as you like throughout the day and at the restaurants, and there’s a 24/7 café where you can grab food and coffee. We also had a massage, which was lovely (extra charge, though they gave us a small discount—it still wasn’t cheap). There’s also a 24/7 gym with brand-new equipment. Because of the low season, only half of the hotel was open, so some stands (like food trucks) weren’t operating. In the end, most of the closed venues just served their food elsewhere (for example, the Mexican restaurant was closed, but its dishes were occasionally served in the French one). Generally, the hotel rules were a bit unclear—we weren’t always sure what was included in the all-inclusive package (I had to ask them a million questions)—but once you figure it out, it’s fine. The beach isn’t adjacent to the hotel, which is quite important to know, but there’s a free shuttle every 15–30 minutes to the beach, about a 10-minute drive away. We didn’t end up going, but it didn’t really bother us, since the pools were already so pleasant and relaxing.

  Winsome. You loose some

  Arrived on a Saturday, and had to wait 2 or 2 1/2 hour to get into our room. We ordered a roll away bed, and had to constantly badger the hotel service to get one for our room. We were on the 1st floor, right above the pool, and had to share in their daily evening DJ parties, that didn’t end till close to midnight- 12/ 1:00 AM. My daughter expected a small cake for my birthday, it did not show up until 3 days later.

  Adult chill vibes

  Resort was beautiful! Very chill atmosphere. The fresco ceviche is the besttt!! Jesus and Mario didn't disappoint 🙌🏽!!! If you love ceviche, this place will make you happy.
