    Not concerned with the security and welfare of their guests.

    In all my years of travel I have never experienced an issue like we had this morning. Arrived early to the hotel. The receptionist greeted us and provided a complimentary beverage. At the time of check in the receptionist offered a room upgrade with a 20% discount. I explained that I will confirm the upgrade tomorrow. When we checked into our room. A careless member of staff walked into our room unannounced. My partner at the time had no clothes on. She was extremely embarrassed and also self conscious about her body. I reported the issue to the duty manager and explained it's unacceptable. I was assured by the manager that the member of staff was reprimanded. A little too late I am sorry. I explained that a goodwill gesture should be provided for my partner and suggested that a free or charge room upgrade would be acceptable. The duty manager contacted me and explained there were no upgraded rooms available. Since reviewing their website an upgraded penthouse suite is available between the dates of the 17th - 21st. This was not offered to me over the phone. When I asked her when this would be available I could not receive a confirmed answer. I however managed to find an answer in 5 minutes of browsing their website. I then decided to head down to reception and speak with the duty manager again. My partner was extremely upset and in tears and now feels embarrassed. After sitting and waiting I was told by the receptionist that the manager is in a very important meeting and could not see me! Clearly not bothered about the security and welfare for their guests. I have given the hotel the opportunity to put this right. Clearly more interested in protecting their profits then looking after the welfare of their guests. Utterly disgusted!

    Excellent hotel and staff are superb

    Excellent hotel and location is superb. All the staff are extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Special mention to Montse in the dining room, always greats you with a smile and the service is exceptional. Great holiday, great location, great customer service by all the staff. Well done all, would definitely recommend and go back. 5 star.

    Wonderful Stay

    On arrival we were checked in promptly along with a complimentary cava. The immediate impression as you walk into reception is clean, calm and welcoming; views from reception are fab. Our room was on the second floor which gave us an amazing view from them the balcony. Table and chairs and a sofa on the balcony. We had a junior suite and stayed B&B as our board preference. The breakfast selection was brilliant. Plenty of choice of food and beverages, including fresh juices and cava. There is space to eat outside which was pleasant, looking over the sea; get there before 9am if you don’t want to queue to be seated outside. There is plenty of space inside and we had no problem finding a table. The dining staff were friendly, approachable and attentive. The room was spacious with a large bed, sofa and whirlpool bath, the room is designed so you can see the view from the whirlpool. The shower is in a separate room with the toilet, the shower has jets at the side however these weren’t fully functional. Air conditioning in the room. Rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh towels were provided each day. There is a coffee machine however there is a cost to replace the pods at a cost of €6. We did not use the minibar as it was not a cold fridge, this was probably the only downside to the room; it would have been nice to be able to store cold drinks. The property is very well maintained and is very clean. Staff are vigilant and ensure areas are kept clean and tidy. We did not opt to stay in star prestige so only accessed the large Freeform pool; this is a lot larger than it looks in pictures. We found getting a bed pretty straight forward however when the weekend arrived it was far busier; staff worked hard to put out more beds and to assist guests in finding space, beds and brollies. There are access points directly to the sea. The pool bar staff were very attentive, checking frequently whether you would like a drink, without being persistent or invasive. Drinks are added to the room tab, limoncello spritz and the frozen daiquiris were a particular favourite. The bar is reasonably priced. The pool restaurant serves great food, again with a reasonable price point. The location of the hotel is perfect if you want good sea views, quieter space and access to restaurants, shops and bars. The area is fairly hilly which may be a consideration for people who mobility requirements. We would visit this hotel again, loved our 10 day stay here.

    Perfect Holiday.

    We stayed in the Star Prestige Junior Suite which had so much room. The view from the terrace was stunning and the balenise bed was so comfy. We would like to thank every member of staff who were so friendly and went above and beyond to make our two week stay amazing. All staff worked so hard and were so friendly. The food was amazing, so much choice it was hard to chose what to have. We can't wait to book for May next year as we loved our stay. Perfect holidays do exist at this hotel. Thank you all for making our holiday so wonderful.

    Best holiday

    We stayed at the Jardin Del Sol for 2 weeks in room 1101 The food was Excellent. A massive thanks to all the staff in the hotel who looked after us we're forever greatful l.Definitely will be returning again & again everyone was friendly to us. I couldn't of asked for a better hotel & lovely staff.
