Good Stay with one HUGE Exception!
At our recent stay at this IHG hotel, , we had a nice stay with one exception: the AC didn't work for the first three nights of our stay. They finally fixed it for the final night. Mallorca was very hot, and it made it impossible to sleep with the AC being so unreliable. We complained both by phone and in person at the front desk. They sent several people in, but it never seemed to work until the last day. It would just turn off and wake us up. This happened the first three nights, but they finally mananged to make it work for the fourth night. As I said, I complained in person and by phone while lodged in the hotel. So I then wrote to iHG when we got home. They apologized and said they would try to make it up in our next visit, but I wrote back we may not go back to Mallorca in the near future. I understand there are niggling problems with any stay, but the AC not being unreliable in 90 plus degree temperatures isn't acceptable.

Highly recommended
Overall I would recommend this hotel. Some highlights to call out: * Every staff member we met was so friendly and helpful. I want to give a specific shout out to Lucas, who ran the daily programme of activities with enthusiasm and energy, and Teresa from housekeeping. I asked at reception for an extra pillow and by the time we had made our way back to our room she was at our door with not one but two. * The breakfast and dinner buffets were of a good standard, with the option to have some items cooked fresh to order in front of you. There were plenty of seats and while the outside area was popular it was always possible to get a table there. The half board option definitely represents good value for money in my view. * The spa is worth a visit. Treatments are not cheap but are carried out with skill. * The pool area is a good size for the size of the hotel and was busy but never felt crowded. Complimentary drinks and snacks were given by the bar staff at least once every day we were there. * Can't beat the location. Hotel is right on the beach and is 15 minutes from the airport by the A2 bus, which costs 5 euros per person. The 25 bus takes you in to Palma for 2 euros per person. Couple of adverse points to note: * You only get one thin pillow per person as standard. If that's not going to work for you, ask for another when you check in. * If you like to go to bed before 11pm, bring ear plugs. Without them the noise from the hotel entertainment (and also neighbouring hotels) was horrendous and sleep was impossible.

Faultless
Everything you need for a perfect relaxing holiday. Every member of staff is friendly & helpful. The food is the best I have ever had and I have stayed in many 4* hotels. So much choice. Rooms are spotlessly clean & very comfortable and the views are breathtaking. I will definitely return. Thank you everyone for making my holiday perfect in every way.

Better than ever
Another amazing trip to our favourite hotel. They have made a number of small improvements since our last visit which elevate your experience even more. Blissfully quiet, elegant clientele, spotlessly clean, amazing location right on the beach of Playa de Palma. Rooms are fabulous, beds so comfy, great toiletries, brand new gym equipment, fabulous food for both breakfast and dinner. Two swimming pools, spa pools, small touches such as cocktails and ice cream by the pools for guests. All of the staff are incredible, so friendly and professional. It really is our favourite hotel anywhere and we cannot wait to come back next year. The integration of Origins for lunch is a great idea, think Ibiza beach club, fabulous food and amazing decor. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you to all staff but especially Pablo, Pedro, Pepe, Stefan and of course the beautiful and amazing Chrysoula on reception. See you next year

Fantastic stay
Fantastic stay at this hotel. Lovely quiet place to relax. Andres on the roof top bar was excellent and really friendly. The spa and facilities were great. The hotel was clean and the restaurant had a good choice of food. We will return soon. X
