Would come back to this spot any time!!!
What a wonderful experience from the second we arrived at the dock, where we were greeted by one of our butlers, Ritik, and several staff. We were served a refreshing drink and taken on a tour of the property. The property itself is beautiful, many pools and great views from everywhere. The food was out of this world. Coffee and cocktails always available, and people ready to do nothing but make your stay great. Our butler duo, Ritik and Edgar were always available and made sure we had everything we needed or wanted at any given moment. Would go back- only downside is a lot of stairs to get to main lobby, but there are plenty of restaurants and pools from that level up. We skipped a couple restaurants at the bottom because the stairs was a lot.

Impressed with Impressions
My husband and I have visited 10 Hyatt (formerly AM) resorts. Our most recent trip, before Isla, was to Impressions Moche. Our expectations were high. This resort was at the top of our bucket list. We always book a private transfer from the airport to the resort, or in this case, the dock. We book through AMSTAR, and I highly recommend it. They meet you right outside the airport with your name on their sign, and they take you directly where you need to go. Their drivers always go above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. We, unfortunately, arrived at the dock right after the Catamaran left, so we waited for 2 hours. They have a bar and food area, which felt like an extension of the hotel. The boat itself was very nice and large. I tend to get sea sick, but I was fine both ways. The resort is stunning! If you are like me and have always wanted to stay in an over-the-water bungalow, this has the same feel. The water is perfect in temperature, and it's completely clear and blue! It honestly feels like heaven on earth. When you lie on the dock chairs, it feels like all there is in the world is you and the water. We went during the low season, and the resort was about 40% occupied. The slide was closed the entire time we stayed. We were never fighting for chairs. The towel/waiters at the beach were phenomenal. Always there with drinks and towels. Jasmine was on top of it and was good at recommending drinks. I will say the drinks are very watered down. It was very rare to have a flavorful one. I was all about the mango mojitos, because they were the only drink that tasted like anything. The room was great. The beds were comfortable, and there was a nice new design feel. If we're being picky, I'd say the lighting in the bathroom is bad. I couldn't see my face to do makeup. The hot tub on the deck was boiling. Luckily, it was flaming hot outside, so we just didn't use it. We had a great view of the pools and the ocean. The property is lovely. It's on a very steep incline. If you have any reason you can't climb, and I mean CLIMB) stairs do not go to this resort! The stairs are steep and tile, and there is no way to move around the resort without going up and down them. It gives it a Santrorini vibe with the steep hill and all the beautiful white design. There are 3 pools. There's a hidden pool we found and nobody goes in it. It was so nice to have our own "private" pool. It's down some steps right by the main pool past the pool bar. In my opinion for the par of resort this is the food does not meet the standard. I've had much better food at Dream properties. We tried every resturaunt. Our favorite was probably firehouse (steak), and it was alright. The Suffle desert, and the lobster mac and cheese were the best. The steak was ok, not great. The veggies were undercooked. There isn't a buffet, which I didn't think I'd miss but when the food is subpar I'd like another option. You have to reserve resturaunts. Your butler can help you with that. It's kind of crazy because there was nobody there and they wouldn't let us in without a reservation. I'd peak in the resturaunts and they had like 2 tables. I felt like they were understaffed. My most favorite waiter/person at the resort was Alex. He was so friendly, and made our meals so special. We had a couples meal and we were lucky enough to have him as our server. What a perfect night it was, and he was a big part of it. My husband speaks Spanish, and I don't. often, staff will get lost talking to him because they prefer to speak spanish. Alex made sure to speak English even though we didn't always understand each other. The coco cafe has great ice cream, and yummy little candies. Renting a golf cart to drive around Isla Mujeres is a must! It was about $120 for 8 hours and it was so much fun. We went to Punta Sur, which was absolutly stunning. Then we went over to North Beach, which is just hanging out at another beautiful beach. Then we did a little shopping, I always go grab fresh mangos with Tajin. I crave that so much when I'm home. Make sure you have small bills. People will try and tell you they don't have change. You'll also need it to tip. The butlers were nice to have. We had Angel, and he was great. He would respond quickly and meet us at places just to say hello. We had a couple of others in charge while he was away, and they weren't quite as on top of things. I asked to book Kayaks and she didn't respond at all. The activities were great. Right up my alley. it was very holistic and relaxing. Yoga was great. If they have an ice bath thing, just do it. It was a highlight of my trip. It makes you feel amazing afterward, and it helps you build relationships with other people in the resort. Snorkeling was fun, we saw a stingray and a lot of fish. Then we spent the next hour lying on the beach trying not to throw up, it was a little choppy that day. They had a night of Rekiki, tarot cards, and crystals. It was very interesting, and surprisingly, it felt very real. This resort is a lot more about relaxation, and it's pretty quiet in comparison to others we've been to. There isn't that much entertainment at night. You have to decide if that is what you are going for. If you want a party vibe, go to a party resort such as Breathless. In all, it was a lovely time, but if you are looking for good food and lively entertainment, and you are trying to decide which impression resort I'd go Moche all day.

Location + People = Impression
Location + People = Impressions. That’s the magic formula this resort has absolutely nailed. Impressions Isla Mujeres is tucked away in one of the most stunning locations we've visited in the Caribbean. The beach is picture-perfect—soft white sand and warm, turquoise water that feels like something out of a dream. The hotel itself is small and intimate, and during our stay it was only at about 40% capacity, which made it feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. Peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. But what really made our experience unforgettable was the people. The staff here are some of the kindest, most attentive, and genuinely friendly individuals we’ve encountered at any resort. They made us feel like family. We truly believe the team here is what sets Impressions apart from any other resort. A few standout names you should definitely seek out: Fernando, Diego, and Alex – Our go-to servers at breakfast and lunch. They were fun, personable, and treated us like royalty every single day. Israel at Wildfire – Gave us top-notch service and recommendations. Don’t leave without having dinner here! Edwin at the rooftop pool – One of the best! He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Angel and Zelma, our butlers – Super helpful with anything we needed. They made getting around and booking activities effortless. Highlights of our trip: Best meal: Wildfire. The lobster mac & cheese is unreal, and do not skip dessert—the chocolate soufflé is the best. You will thank me later! Ice bath experience at the dock – If you're feeling adventurous, this is a must. It was one of our favorite activities and left us feeling refreshed and energized. Golf cart rental – Highly recommend taking a day to explore the island. It gave us a chance to see the local flavor and was a fun way to break up the relaxing beach days. Pros: Amazing location, exceptional staff, delicious food. Cons: The food was not the best we have ever had in a Hyatt All Inclusive. If you’re coming for the food there are better places. Not apt of Mexican options like authentic tacos, ect. Drinks were a little watered down it felt like.

Unmatchable Serenity and Luxury
An incredible property with vast ocean views, the most genuine staff and personnel and so many fun activities included on site. You will arrive the resort by their private catamaran from a marina which is a short drive from Cancun airport. Get ready to be spoiled right upon your arrival with a cool towel and welcoming drink. You private butler will escort you to your room. The views from the hotel's roof top are unbelievable and every corner of the hotel has a special decorating touch and design. Food and drinks were so delicious and there is a Cafe (Cacao) on site with so many treats including ice cream! Entertainment team works very hard and offers multiple opportunities to get involved in numerous wellness activities including yoga, sound healing, ice bath, art making and much more! The island has beautiful cliffs a short bike and bikes are readily available near lobby. You can rent a golf cart and explore the island or book a fishing excursion. Do not hesitate to book. I will be back.
