Oct 17, 2026Impression Isla Mujeres NEEDS a New Rooftop
This is our second time visiting this resort and we are also Impression Level UVC members. We were disappointed in the quality of the food overall. First time we came it was exceptional! Now just average overall. And do not order room service... it was inedible... the chicken had to have been cooked multiple times and reheated... couldn't even cut it, it was so tough like leather. The service is still excellent, but not a single staff member wears a name tag! That drive me crazy! I like to great people by name!!! Even in the hallway passing by! The person working doesn't have to only be "assigned" to us for me to be able to see/call them by name! I still like to use and know their name! Really made it feel impersonal! The other still huge disappointment... the rooftop! There are only 4 lounge chairs, "2 paired sets" in the pool water that have umbrellas you can use for shade. Otherwise, no shade unless you ask / beg for them to find umbrellas to shade the weird mattress lounge area! They need to remodel that rooftop and take out the weird matress lounge bed areas and put in lines of Bali bed cabana like Impression Moxche Rooftop! It would make Isla rooftop by far the best if they remodeled and added more loungers with umbrellas and Bali cabana beds that also provided shade! The bay water front area doesnt even have shade! Another place they could put Bali cabanas on so you could enjoy and get out of the heat! We love the island and will likely go back, but to another resort because we love the island!

10/10 resort!
The perfect all inclusive resort for our honeymoon/anniversary trip! Truly is beautiful everywhere. Staff do an amazing job accommodating you and ensuring you have the best experience. Vianey and Wedinzon took great care of us and promptly helped us with whatever we needed as well as the rest of the staff. Truly a beautiful and relaxing resort with great views, food, amenities and a luxurious experience.

A+!
Everything was incredible. We had many requests as their activity list was evolving and extensive; but our butlers David & Angel made the process so simple and easy. They were wonderful, as was the entire staff. Can’t recommend this place enough. The views are unbeatable!
