- Noa Noa Terrace Restaurant
The attractive main hotel restaurant is at the core of the resort building, opening out onto an enclosed patio and down to the beach and lagoon across a superbly landscaped terrace. The setting is relaxing with indoor and outdoor seating and a Polynesian decor. The patio is lit to become the focus for our themed dinners and lively entertainment. Noa Noa taps local flavours and the chef's French savoir faire to create fine buffet and à la carte selections
- Vini Vini Bar & Restaurant TerraceUnder the shade of our majestic palm trees, Vini Vini Terrace Restaurant provides a cool retreat for all day snacks, frosty drinks or a casual lunch. Located near the pool in view of the white sand beach and the lagoon, this comfortable gathering place offers refreshers such as La Salad Fenua, made with Bora Bora hearts of palm, pineapple and fenua shrimp.

Peaceful stay
Beautiful setting, very peaceful. Great pool and low key bungalows made of natural materials. Lovely gardens and kind staff for the most part. Concierge staff Kaeda and Mayana are stand out for their competence and excellence/warmth. Downsides include 1. No gym 2. Poorly maintained activities room that is regularly taken over by staff or performers. The property in general is a bit tired (ie pool tiles dumped on the ground) 3. Staff are largely sweet and well meaning but restaurant service is very slow/struggles (ie almost impossible to get bread basket unless you ask for it) Feels like not enough effort is being invested in training up the staff to a basic level in some cases, possibly 4. No kids activities - would be so easy to put on a few social events such as a film night in the activities room when it’s raining! 5. GM was sighted occasionally but did not make her presence felt or obvious - lack of meaningful management apart from one French man trying very hard to run the show and elevate the professionality - he was fantastic 6. Internet patchy - not available besides parts of the pool or in some areas of the hotel 7. The hotel offers a sharks and ray tour but half of the day is actually spent on a family’s island watching a slightly odd coconut show and tie dye making session All in all a wonderful week of peace but because the prices are so steep you do notice these problems.

Wonderful resort in fantastic location.
We enjoyed the premium bungalow, the professional and friendly team. Great value for families (plenty of activities). Good food. Laurence, the General Manager, is going out of her way to pamper the guests. She is surrounded by a great team.

Bora Bora Hotel
Hello, My wife and I would like to share how happy we were to celebrate our 30th Anniversary at your wonderful hotel, The Intercontinental Le Moana. Thank you to all of your staff! They were all professional, courteous, helpful, and very attentive. From the front desk staff, the person that showed us our room, the short-order cook, and the wait staff, we were very well taken care of. The room was great, firstly - the view was fantastic! The accommodation was very functional and comfortable and easy to relax in. The swim platform and outdoor shower are super. Breakfast was delicious and the varied selections kept it different each day. Dinners were also very good, I enjoyed a Havana Club 7 as a starter - what a treat as it is not available in the USA. I travel for work and stay in five to six different hotels every month and countless restaurants. I very much appreciate the attention to detail and customer service at Le Moana. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Bora Bora luxury on a budget
I really would recommend the Intercontinental Le Moana for anyone looking to do Bora Bora with a touch of luxury but within a reasonable price range. Upon check in we were welcomed by the reception staff and treated really well. We were given a free late check out on Sunday as our flight wasn’t until 18:00 so that was much appreciated. Also, they offered a discounted rate for a transfer back to the airport via boat. We had beach bungalow 54, I was really impressed with the size and facilities of the bungalow. The views from there were great and almost felt like you had a private beach outside which was lovely. The bed was and sun loungers were comfortable and you get your beach towels left in your room. You also get a complimentary water bottle for your stay and beyond. We made use of the filtered water and ice machine right across from the bungalow. I usually have a sensitive stomach when it comes to ice, water in other countries outside the UK but the filtered water and ice was fine. The prices in the hotel I didn’t feel differed that much to those outside and we tended to spend roughly the same whether we ate in the hotel or outside. The food at Vini Vini Bar was good, we had some snack food the day we arrived and ate lunch there as well. My bolognese lacked a bit of flavour but my husband enjoyed his burger. We both enjoyed the cocktails at happy hour. We did pay for the show on Saturday night which was good but I did feel was a bit overpriced at around £62 per person as the food was just a standard buffet and nothing particularly special. They did have an option to have freshly cooked meat and fish. The dancers were very good and performed for around 45mins to an hour. You might be able to get away with being in the bar area and observing the show from a far but I would feel a bit cheeky doing this and it might be frowned upon. As a guest of the hotel you can take out a paddleboard, kayak and snorkelling equipment free of charge. There are also jet skis available but I’m not sure if they require a small fee or not. You can also book external activities through the hotel concierge. I am not sure if these are cost comparable as we booked our activities prior to arrival via Viator and GetYourGuide. You can pay to go to the Thalasso resort and I have attached a picture of the prices but not sure if you have to book a lunch or something should you wish to enjoy the facilities. I believe this can all be booked via the concierge so they will be able to guide you. Overall, we had a great experience at Le Moana hotel and it really felt like luxury without breaking the bank!
